Is the international spot for this season?

Yep. Also makes sense with Pisanu+Mapp+Blake Smith on the left

Pisanu plays on the right, doesn't he?

Yes Pisanu plays on the right. We have Pisanu and Arnaud on the right. Smith and Mapp on the left as well as Nyassi who can play both sides. It didnt make any sense to keep Neagle in this case. I'm happy with the trade, frees up some cap space as well.

Does the team have enough international spots for all its foreign players now?

Is Eullafroy still in charge of the Académie? Thought he was now with the big team.

Not necessarily. Nick Sabetti said Neagle asked for a Transfer 2 weeks ago to get closer to home. If this is the best the Impact could get, then its good to have some extra spaces just incase something pops up (Like Nesta, it was not expected).

The Impact have now 11 international spots for 2013 with 8 taken already. I bet we'll see 1 or 2 acquisitions from the Serie A during the summer transfer window in Europe.

Comon IMFC!! Vancouver had their 3 DP's there 2nd year and Toronto has 3 right now too. Saputo is the richest of the 3 owners and the most involved with player personnel..

Well Joey now wants to get a South American player. Interesting. Another Brazilian?

Love the acquisition of another international spot!

A sub we don't need for a international player of our choice

First thought that comes to mind... Are their any other "signable" South Americans playing in Switzerland right now?

Yep. For those who did not see

The lastest trade now opens the door to go after a foreigner; will he be from Europe or South America? My bet is South America. Stay tuned.

Let me dream for half a second.

Alright done dreaming. Realistically I would really like either a really solid defensive midfielder with amazing passing abilitys, or an explosive typical south american winger.

Have you guys heard about this Neymar kid? Heard hes a pretty dynamic young winger that can be a striker as well. .

That tweet is hilarious coming from an owner.

If we're signing a south american DP then I'd want Riquelme or Deco. But I want a deep lying playmaker, that's what we really need.

I've heared Riquelme's name quite a few times. Mind you I don't know a damn thing about the player other that he's a midfielder from Argentina that almost signed for Chivas USA.. Our next aquisition HAS to be a DP, we have solid depth now, we need high quality players.

Riquelme is one of the most skilled player the soccer world has produced in the past 10 years. Granted, his peak was around 2005-2006 then started to decline but he's still a top caliber player. I highly doubt he'd come to Montreal but that would be a sweet dream.
