So many good tools. Size, skating, shot, playmaking, physicality, work ethic.

I'd definitely put money on Kujawinski going in the 1st.

Ya, after seeing him play online only once the first thing I thought was it's just a rare combo of size and skill down the middle that some team will take him later in the 1st round.

The only downside for him is the first round is so deep, so will come down to preference among teams picking in that range.

Are you talking about Kujawinski?

Yeah.

I guess I should edit that in. The merge made it a bit confusing.

I'm thinking they have to go with Seth Jones, the kid just looks too good.

Hahaha, that makes sense. I didn't realize that theads were merged. I agree that he "should" be a first rounder but we will see what happens in the last half of the year. I think he's in that 20-30 range right now. I don't see the oilers drafting at that point. I hope he falls to the second for our sake.

I am really not happy with our goalie situation and I say we take all the top goalies in the next draft and develop the situation into a Moog-Fuhr situation

Could be, so then MacKinnon for the Oil? That's not bad.

The Oilers need to get bigger, adding Nathan Mackinnon is creating a bigger problem.

If the playoffs started today we would be picking 12th. I don't see any of the big guns being available but we would get one hell of a defenceman between Pulock, Zadorov, Ristolainen, Morrissey and Nurse.

Alex Barkov is the type of player we need going forward.

6'3 and 210 pounds.

Chances are that if they draft a centre this year, he won't be ready to step into the NHL as a #2C for 3-4 years into the future.

Seems to me you draft the BPA and either keep Gagner to win in the next few years, or upgrade on Gagner through a trade or free agency.

Do you think we are going to finish in the bottom 3?

It's scary, though, that this team is still bad after having 3 first overall picks.

Before we jump off a bridge, it's been 4 games vs. Vancouver, San Jose, LA, and Calgary, three very good teams and one team that seems to play with a horse shoe up their rear end against us, and we're 2-2 so far.

Realistically I think that Edm ends up picking somewhere in the 5-10ish range. You guys think that's about accurate?

If somehow we do finish bottom-three,I hope to hell we don't draft Nathan Mackinnon.

He plays a hell of a lot bigger than Barkov does.

He's still another small forward, and we've got enough of them.I thought Barkov's playing-style is that of a player that uses his size to get the puck to the net?

He's about as "physical" as Joe Thornton.

If we suck again this year; based on Oiler needs:
1.Seth Jones
2.Barkov
3.Mackinnon

How about the idea of the Oilers drafting Sean Monahan?

another centre that has size.
