Condra gets a breakaway every game, we are lucky if her gets 2 goals from them all season.

There were a lot of weak calls in the Oilers game last night, but yeah, we've been getting the short end of the stick in all our games so far.

Despite the score, a very nice period for the Sens. Michalek was much more visible so far. Latendresse also made some good plays. I may be in the minority, but I *really* like Benoit's play. He's very mobile, he makes good passes, he blocks shots. His only problem is his size.

Oh I agree, there have been quite a lot of weak calls in general this year.

But for some reason it never ever ever benefits the Sens. It just gets annoying.

Its hilarious to see Silfverbergs slashing penalty only called once Crosby stares down the ref with his hands in the air while Letang slashes Condra so he couldn't get a good shot off on the breakaway and no goal.

I would definitely say those two slashes were equal. Minus the broken stick part. If Condra's stick broke, then it would have been the same.

You can't say you're a Sens fan if you don't know who plays the PK... Or you are somwhere else on the planet and can't watch games

He was talking about Gonchar first PP shot (slapshot) and you are talking about his 2nd (wrister)

But good try boys

Weird. Karlsson's got just under 6 minutes with 5:48, while Gonchar, Phillips and Methot are all sitting around 7. Maybe it has to do with the 3 Penguin Power Plays? I'm only following along the radio since the game's blacked out.

Nice to hear the panel try find new mates for Crosby!
They have just said hes name 12 times this intermission....
Must be something wrong!! About now there should be like 30 times and some crosby flashbacks and maybe a interview with his childhood coach!

Overall it wasn't a bad period, just getting so frustrated with so many penalties against and watching the sportsnet intermission show doesn't help at all. I hate sportsnet so much.
