Perhaps this has already been answered in one of the other threads, but I was wondering if Bell no longer includes GCL for Centre Ice customers? They used to throw it in for free in the past.

I don't have an ipad 3, but on the ipad 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5 it looks fantastic, even while air playing or mirroring to the tv.

Question:

Games shown on TV in your area are blacked out in GCL right?

Well I live in England and the Caps Buffalo game is LIVE on Premier Sports, check here: http://www.premiersports.tv/
Click on Ice Hockey, then NHL

Yet I can watch the game FINE on Xbox360...

Should it not be blacked out for me in theory?

Cheers

So I subscribed, tried it on my ipad. Works flawlessly so far. Watching the caps and sabres. Not hd quality but its a good quality broadcast. I've also started watching it on the Xbox app and that is good so far too. But I'd like to be able to disable the ticker. It's especially annoying since there is a weird flickering issue with the ticker. For some reason you can disable the ticker on the ipad but I don't see a way to do that on Xbox app.

This is a mixed bag so far. Caps game was flawless in one period. But the pens game I already had 4 stops with buffering to load it back.

It's a great free option... when it works. I find myself refreshing the page 3 or 4 times usually before it does. One night it wouldn't work at all and I just gave up.

Don't think I'll get Unblockus for Xbox. Not worth paying for since the GCL app on there constantly buffers. I'd try a free option.
When you get the feed going, shut off Stealthy.

Bingo bango, problem solved.

Sometimes only 10-15 minutes (!), typically an hour or two.

Works fabulously here on iPad 3. But, even my old iPad 1 works great with GameCenter Live this season. The thing to realize is, the Retina screen on the new iPads will show marked improvement especially for displaying texts or high-resolution photographs, but for streaming video at the usual rates, I find both iPad 3 and iPad 1 perfect. Even the resolution of the "old" iPad 1 screen is enough to handle HD video.

But, Apple TV beats them both for displaying GameCenter Live content via the NHL app. Investing around $100 for getting that little puck-like box of Apple TV should be a no-brainer for anyone with a GameCenter Live subscription and a large TV screen at their disposal. (Unless they already possess something equivalent to that.) Apple TV is a fully independent device, no other device or computer needed (least of all Apple).

Has anyone seen any games with quality above 300 kbps? (4500 kbps I think)
Or is 3000 the highest?

For live broadcasts 3000 is highest I've seen. All of the archived games for this season I've tried have 4500, and are 60fps instead of 29.97

So I purchased the subscription yesterday and my card is showing two transactions of $50+ ,so I was charged twice. And I can't access it, like my account doesn't exist.

Not a good start...

Those games from a few days ago that are meant to be blacked out aren't for some reason.

I'm not complaining though. Keep quiet ha. Reckon they'll realise in the end.

Ipad app works great as well.

Like old archived? Or like yesterday archived? I haven't tried any previous season games.

I hate how games on NHL Network are blacked out. NHL Network is not a national broadcast as many providers don't even carry it. AT&T dropped it during the lock-out and hasn't picked it up again so I had to watch the Caps game on a terrible feed I found online. The only games that should be blacked out are local games and games on national TV, aka NBC. How were people watching the Caps/Sabres on GCL?

This season. 3000 is the max for me when I access the games from the last two days and 1600 for games older than that.

I'm using the xbmc addon to watch the games from a few days ago, not sure if the website gives the 4500 feeds.

Anyone notice once a game gets past the third, on the Apple TV it's considered "Final"?

I'm trying to watch the OT of the Pens/Sens game and it is not happening.

My feed for the Chicago game was terrible tonight.. constant freezing and lag.. just slow too.

Yesterday it was fine though.. but if it is more like today I won't pay for it.

What I'm saying is the feed sometimes never gets going. I know to shut off Stealthy once it does.

I find on the Xbox, when I pause the live game for a few minutes and then restart it, the feed works fine. No buffering. Maybe something to try on other devices. Tonight's Habs game was the best the Xbox app has been for me so far.

It may have already been answered but with Gamecenter, is there a way to use the split screen feature to watch more than one game on both the iPad and Apple TV?

There are ways to get around the blackout(to watch on Gamecenter) , if you read earlier posts.
