Tough day yesterday.

Lost 9-3 in a rare afternoon game. I was a -3, not as bad as the line ahead of us a -5. They got scored on four consecutive shifts. Pretty ugly. No points for me. Had literally 4 or 5 breakaways that the puck was rolling or sliding funny. Ugh. Somewhere in there I took an elbow to the head and tweaked my neck and felt like I got hit by a car.

Then the girlfriend suggested going to Barrio for dinner. Okay. Showered and cleaned up, and then:

- 15 minutes driving to downtown St Paul
- 20 minutes driving around the sea of drunks getting out of Beer Dabbler and parking
- 10 minutes walk to Barrio, seated immediately
- 20 minutes of getting bumped into by drunks without a waitress/server even acknowledging us

At that point I just lost my **** and grabbed the coat and woman and left. We drove to Boca Chica and within 5 minutes had our drink order in and some chips and salsa. 5 more minutes we had apps and drinks. Food 10 minutes later.

Moral of the story: I'm too old to **** around at a trendy bar.

My mom enrolled me into Sunday School when I was in 5th or 6th grade. I went for a few weeks, and realized that I only went to grab a free donut and then I would draw in the back of the circle on whatever paper they gave me. So I just stopped going.

I haven't been to church since. I've been inside them since, but only for 5-10 minutes at a time. I'm not religious at all though, so that's probably why. I feel uncomfortable in churches, to be honest. My girlfriend's brother was married in one this past summer and it was the first time I was in one in 3-4 years and I just felt terribly awkward. Wasn't good for my mojo, I guess.

EDIT: My gf was out of town this past weekend so I had the apartment to myself. Just sat around and watched movies and played Madden. Watched Mission Impossible 4, pretty good. Contact, very good. Madden, awesome. I was going to make Mac & Cheese for dinner, but then someone on another forum posted a coupon for dominos that gets 2 medium 1 topping pizzas, a order of cinnamon bread, a bag of parmesan bread bites, and a 2 liter bottle of pop. For $20. Heeeeellllll yeah I jumped on that pretty quick. Going to have leftovers probably into tomorrow or Tuesday. Love it.

Yep, not much of a believer, either. I actually was baptized the same day that I got my confirmation.

I'm a godfather to my sister's son though, so I have to be a member of the church. I never go there though.

From my experience Barrio is great if you're 22 and dating or with a hot woman. It's not that great any other time.

Stopped by the Gopher Bar last night, probably the best chili cheese dog I've ever had.

What? He asked what happened to squidz. I told him. It's not against the rules, is it? I'm not discussing the reasons or whether he should've been banned or not, that doesn't belong here.

If I'm getting scolded here, I want to know what I'm getting scolded for at least.

No, it was me.

Asking a question that is apparently against the rules to ask. No worries.

Discussing infractions/bans HAS TO be one of the top 10 don't do's of HF.. Without checking I'd reckon I'm correct.
