It's not that I don't believe in him man. Relax.
Yeah, but he's just going to continue dummying players like he was before. For me, it was always about progress. If he's progressing at this level, and able to play a regular shift, he should stay. I think the NHL is his best development path at this point.

The Calder? It's been for games. There's no race yet.

If we keep him up it won't be the worst thing in the world but I think it makes more sense to send him down. He can come up next year and will be that much better.

Exactly what I was thinking. Bourque's all over the place, Cole's lagging behind.

If that's the case, then he shouldn't have taken the shot.

Despite the lines and pairs not all having a great game, I'm happy to see them give their all, skate hard and hustle.

Gotta like this puck possession, even if we aren't gaining the zone. Reminds me of the Red wings of the last few years. Hopefully we can get a good cycle going.

The best level for him would be to play at center on the 2nd line.

Usually a 3-2 Habs/Devils game is boring but thats not the case here, what an exciting game from start to end.

All we should be thinking about is his development. Patches injury only matters from the perspective on Gally's icetime. If the club is going to play him more because of this I understand it, otherwise it doesn't matter.

I get the rationale of keeping him and like I said if we do, that's fine. But I'd still prefer he finish this season with Sarnia. Better for him and we get the extra RFA year.

I won't be all that upset either way though. Just don't want us to rush this kid to the league in our desperation to find a superstar. Nothing wrong with being patient and taking our time with him.
