Yeah, he really stretched his arms and stick and BANG! in the face-slash-visor. OK call.

It's great to get the 2 points. Markov was outstanding tonight.

Markov vs. Subban defensively is more debateable.

Saw some idiot wishing Cole to break his neck again on their board. Their lives must suck so bad to get so angry when their team loses a game they were lucky to get to OT.

Cole dived there but if any team shouldn't be crying about gamesmanship it's that one. They thrive by drawing penalties and getting away with them.

shouldn't judge a fanbase by one poster but Montreal did deserve the win. they wanted it and obviously NJ played like crap early. im just happy we got a point.

Not sure what you mean. I understood this:

Nah, they pretty much always follow that formula. Wasn't Koivu only awarded the 2nd star when he came back to town because the game was won in OT? I'm sure he had by far the most votes.

As "the fans gave him the most votes".

Not the greatest game, but I'll take the win against a Devils team that's always a pain in the ass to play against. We played a great first, an alright second but the third was pretty bad, the guys looked tired and were really struggling in their own zone. There's no way that Galchenyuk is getting sent down after this game, he was a force tonight and such an amazing talent: he's got the hands and the vision. I also liked Gallagher tonight, great 1st goal and I liked his play in the first period where he just dumped it deep and used his speed to get to the puck. The defense was pretty shaky tonight, Diaz was exposed out there tonight, got outmuscled by Zubrus more than once. I liked Cole tonight, rushed to the net and played like he did last year. Bourque was ok but he missed the net way too many times... Eller looked pretty invisible and kept dumping it off the boards instead of doing an actual play with the puck. And we need Subban, Weber or Kaberle, at the end of the day their both soft and crap defensively.

Anyone have a video of the Greene penalty? Devil fans are whining that Cole dove but to me it looked like Greene swept Cole's feet out from under him..

He had his face smashed in during a fight in the KHL. Last season I think it was Ryan Malone wanted to fight him over a hit but Staubitz jumped in from the bench because Emelin not allowed to fight, as in career ending possibilty. Im guessing thats why the cage, punch it if you want.

-Bourque's compete level is great, he just needs to work on his accuracy.

-Eller was so/so tonight. You could tell he was more intese, but his decisions were pretty blah as the game went on

-DD continues to noshow(OT or not). This guy needs a kick in the rear.

-Cole had a better game, you can tell he'll keep getting better as the season progresses

-Plekanec was okay. He needs to find some space for passes, to much hacking of the puck down the ice, no possession. Goes for most of our play in the second half

-As always, I love Gionta, such a hard worker.

-The Gallys were great tonight! Would love to see Prust be replaced with more skill but either way great job by that whole line.

-boullion had two big hits, loved it

-Emelin is slowly becoming markov-lite with his passes. You can tell he's learning alot from him. There was a nice moment where he had so much patience with the puck before firing off a nice crisp pass up the ice a la markov

-Markov is God. That is all.

-Moen and White played great. Armstrong is simply meh.

-Weber was a little to quick to shoot, could've held onto it a bit more.

-Gorges was his usual self.

-Price was solid, but i think some of those goals could've been stopped.

-Diaz didn't stick out in this game, and that's probably a good thing. Still solid.

Prust if he would have signed at 1.5 mil would have been the best ufa signed this year.

I,m sad for Eller i guess he's the odd man out because he is only effective at the center and the habs seems to have a mancrush on dd.

Why not try him at center with Cole and Dd at wing just to see how he plays. We was good at center last year and is still in the learning process.
