He also got elbowed in the face in the KHL during the lockout.

Markov's shooting percentage is hovering around .450 right now. If he shoots, he scores.

Pretty comparable if you ask me.

Its awesome for these two guys to enter the league together, to both make the team and room together in a hotel for this long. It will be awesome if they both stick.

they could play together for a loooooooooooong time. They complement each other very well on the ice too.

As "the fans gave him the most votes".
In your reply it seemed as if you understood that I was referring to a time when Koivu was playing for us. I'm referring to when he came back to MTL with Anaheim.

I have to give Therrien props. I thought the Prust-Gally-Gally line would be terrible. So far, so good.

The NJ announcer was seriously asking for an interference call on a push that slid the defender 3 feet? Are you kidding me?

I read or heard somewhere that he got hurt gain in the KHL (puck in the face?) and will be wearing the cage for 3 more weeks.

That's what I thought too.. Looked like Greene swept Cole's legs out from under him.. Legit penalty call IMO.

He said he had a nagging injury he was playing through. Excuse or not, he is certainly playing better.

Never saw him wear the cage last year and was wondering about it. So he will continue to wear it for the rest of the season?
