If Smith was doing good, there would be no reason to change the lines, kinda common sense.

Latendresse is slow but he has good hands that would be wasted on a checking line. He'd always lag behind on a third line. We need him to play on a line where he can slowly but surely make his way to the opponent's net and make trouble there.
Silf seemed more comfortable playing with Turris. I'd keep him there. The question is what to do with Alfie? As I posted on the GDT, I wouldn't mind creating a third line that would be a combination of defensive mindedness and scoring, revolving around Alfie.

Daug/Condra-Regin-Alfie <- defensively responsible, but could be sneaky scoring-wise
JOB/Condra-Smith-Neil <- energy 4th line that gets plenty of minutes

That's doesn't make any sense. Turris and Alfie together worked just fine. How is that 0 lines working? Just cause the coach was pissed they just let a game slip away and chastised the boys in an interview immediately following the game doesn't mean none of the lines worked. You don't score 4 goals in a period if that's the case.
Anyway, at the moment, assuming Alfie's only missing the one game, I'd go with:
Greening - Spezza - Michalek
Silfverberg - Turris - Alfredsson
Latendresse - Regin - Neil
Daugavins - Smith - Condra

Anderson - Bishop (although if there's a way to get Lehner up, that would be ideal)
That being said, there's quite a few options with the bottom 6 forwards, as most can switch sides quite effectively, and at least four of em can play center if need be.
No one line has to be the 3rd or 4th per say, they can split fairly even minutes, Neil and Condra can interchange, same with Smith and Regin, etc. Quite frankly, the bottom 3 LW can interchange with each other on any line without sacrificing anything either.

I don't think they're inseparable at all, and would have no problem if they switched up at some point in the future, I just think there's no real reason to break up Alfie and Turris five games into the season while they're working together quite well. So far, it doesn't matter who they've had playing on the other wing with them, it hasn't affected their chemistry. They should first juggle the lines and players still looking for a proper fit.

your standards are way too low. alfie has no goals and outside of a couple nice plays has looked ineffective every game (except with spezza). the tampa game everyone was bad.
these boards is where i do my whining. everyone can sound like an idiot on here without consequence. that's what makes it fun.
still, i wouldn't whine about things i wasn't 100% right about. i'm pretty much always right. One thing i am not though, is negative. you just need to pay more attention.
reality: kyle turris has 4 goals (great). The other 5 of the top 6 players have 3 goals between them in 5 games (empty net does not count here). That is a problem.
Not sold at all on Latendresse. Slow and I haven't seen hands everyone seems to say he has (see Penalty Shot hands). KDaug has a place with his defencesive presence and he can wheel when he has to.
When Lundin comes back, based on the recent games, I'd see Benoit waivered to Binghamton. I think both Wiecioch and Borowiecki learn a lot more here than in the AHL.
Gryba could make the team next year. And Hoffman could replace Latendresse for the sAme reasons as the two D rookies.
