Injuries. Like the circumstances which allowed Calgary to call up Baertschi.

Thank god this ''Galchenyuk can be a winger'' garbage is finally dying.

Has it been confirmed whether AGally's gonna stick with #27 for the rest of the season?

Seguin played in Junior 2010-2011. He was called up during the playoffs to win the SC

No he wasn't... He made the Bruins right out of camp and spent the whole season there.

Seguin played 74 games in the NHL that year. He was scratched during the first two rounds of the playoffs. He didn't play a game for Plymouth in 2010-2011, so far as I can tell.

Being able to effectively play LW is a nice bonus not a deficiency.

Both work.

After tonight it's pretty damn clear he's staying and I'm fine with it as long as he remains at C.

Ladies and gent, that's what you call a brainfart.

Sorry

What are the odds that this coaching staff/management send Gally to Sarnia? My gut feeling is 0.0%. They just seem way too much into him.

Galchenyuk has nothing left to prove at the junior level.
He is NHL-ready.

He's not going anywhere IMO.

You can see he's really starting to get his confidence and is having fun rather than nervous. It's only going to get better from here folks!

A-men to that. Gally's game is translating to the NHL level with ease at the center position, had he been a winger any longer he would have probably been on his way to Sarnia after next game but now I think it's safe to assume he's won a spot. He really controls the flow of the game and he does that by being the pivot.

That's what I say. Even 10 minutes more per game against kids he won't learn as much as being up with the big boys

Brodeur impressed:

http://blogues.journaldemontreal.com...de-galchenyuk/

« Je ne sais pas trop comment prononcer son nom de famille, mais Galchenyuk a vraiment du talent. Il est vite et très intelligent avec la rondelle. Il faut une bonne vision pour réaliser une passe comme il l’a fait sur le deuxième but (Brendan Gallagher).

''I don't know how to say his name, but he has a lot of talent. He is fast and intelligent with the puck. You need good vision to make a pass like he did on the 2nd goal (Gallagher's).''

The way they say it, it's a given he's staying.

Agreed. Especially with the way he's been progressing. He's able to learn at this level. His role and responsibilities will increase as he earns more ice time this season. That's key.

I can't see him going anywhere. He's producing, which helps, but he's also going into the corners and charging the net. He's back-checking and not hanging onto the puck for to long. In short, he's playing like an NHLer, which in my mind means he's learned all he can in junior. He's ready for the show and the Habs have to respect that and keep him up, ELC be damned.
