New Jersey, Chicago, and San Jose all play tomorrow. The order they play in is New Jersey, then Chicago, then San Jose incase multiple teams lose.

That or total games played should be the tie breaker.

Total games played at the time of loss IMO.

Wasn't Washington the last to lose last season?

Capitals won today but just a day too late.

Devils go down in OT in Montreal
Sharks are absolutely dominating the Canucks early.
Chicago up 1-0 midway through against the Wings.

Hawks win to extend the streak. Longest winning steak to start a season in franchise history.

I think SJ and CHI play this weekend or next, would be sweet if both could keep the streak alive

Sharks have 4 games left before facing Chicago 2/5. Chicago probably the same.

I guess we have a 1% chance of sorting it out then, would be fun to see.

Neither team plays Monday.

Sharks get Anaheim at home Tuesday
Hawks travel to Minnesota on Wednesday

Sharks home against Edmonton Thursday
Chicago at Vancouver on Friday

If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on Sharks to stay undefeated longer than the Hawks, but you never know.

I think last year Washington and Detroit played when they were both 5-0, and it was the longest into a season having a game where both teams were undefeated, so it would be a new record if CHI and SJ made it that far!

The NHL record for most victories to start a season is 10.

The Chi - SJ game on 2/5 will be the 10th game for both teams. If they're both still undefeated at 9-0 - one team will tie the record with the possibility to set a new NHL record - Chi against Phoenix on 2/7 and SJ against Phoenix on 2/9.

Sharks play the Ducks tonight, may see the end to this thread!

Devils and Bruins are currently playing in the battle of the no regulation losses. Whoever wins will be the last remaining team in the East to get a point in every game they played so far this season (assuming it's in regulation, if not.. the streak continues for both!)

Boston ties it up late and the game heads to OT.

Both teams will survive the night without a regulation loss.. points in every game as well.

Wouldn't it be awesome if SJ and Chicago can both keep the streaks alive until the 5th?

Nice comeback win by the Sharks to save their perfect start.

Agreed. Without an EXCELLENT night by Niemi, would not have been good. But every team has off nights, nice to have your goalie bail you out. Also made me realize how valuable Dan Boyle is as well. Was out with the flu tonight. feel better Dan!!!

Their three best puck movers were out, and it really hurt their transition, but Niemi and puck luck won them the game. Hopefully Boyle comes back for the next game.
