I flipped to that game and saw MTL at home on the PP in the last minute of OT and laughed. They they scored. How many times have we seen that little scenario play out?

To think Holtby was the reason behind our early exit last year is hard to accept.

The history of the NHL post-season is littered with goalies (some great, some not-so-great, some flashes in the pan) who have stolen series. It's not the first time it's happened, and it certainly won't be the last.

Not that I think Holtby was THE reason. He was A reason. But the point stands.

35 PIM for Ryane Clowe tonight. Had himself quite a couple periods.

Looks like Cory Snyder isn't much of a goalie.

That's exactly the point I was trying to make. It sucks getting beat by a one hit wonder.

That was a painful ending to watch.

As great as Zach Parise has started the year for the Wild, Suter looks timid and slow.

Sobotka was three feet in front of crease and just waiting for the feed....Suter didn't even get a body on him. Pretty much left Backstrom out to dry on that game winner.

Just got back from the game. Love vladdy! but jesus did Suter **** that one up or what?

It's funny going to games with no horse in the race, so many people were so pissed about good calls and especially that Heatley goal. Everyone around me was livid but it was definitely the right call

Off air centerice is on the cutting edge of music technology.

Fell asleep watching the game, when I woke up it sounded like 1986.

That Suter contract is gonna haunt the Wild. Without Weber IMO he's just not that good. He'll be the new Bouwmeester on hf within a year or two.

Finally saw that ridiculous OT penalty call for the Habs on NHL Tonight. Looked like Chara's phantom hold on Wheeler. The worst thing, though, was Mike Johnson saying "that's what happens when you move your feet!" No, that's what happens when the ref blows the call.

That's exactly what it looked like. And even if Cole didn't sell the **** out of that.. it would simply be one guy being stronger than the other. Never should that ever be a penalty.

Phantom calls late in the game are a tradition in Montreal. It wouldn't be the habs without it.

Well luckily that game was in Boston, else the Canadiens would not only have benefited from a late 3rd period PP, but they'd also get a PP or two in OT.
