I really want to see Clowe and Lucic have a go this year. Battle of the two best top 6 fighters out there.

Apparently he is trying to break Gretzky's 92 goals in a season playing half the games.

Wow what a ****ing rip by Flufflin.

I really wish the Rangers had someone capable of bombing from the point.

Damn, Winnipeg with two quick ones to tie the Islanders late in the third... Well, "late"

that's a shocked "damn" not an angry "damn"

Richards has an excellent point shot. Wish he used it more.

Minnesota looking like the Leafs did yesterday. Just gave up two goals late in the 3rd.

Backstrom's having his not-uncommon late game meltdown.

And as I type this, Minnesota ties it 4-4. Heatley.

EDIT: Maybe? Reviewing it.

Jokinen in OT. WPG beats NYI

Great finish to that game, glad I threw it on

Scratch that, Kane banked it in off the post.

The Isles choked a whole lot at the end there.

If the St. Louis game stays tied five of the eight games today will have gone to OT.

I'm not sure how I've managed to keep liking them for so many years. Backstrom is embarrassing when he wants to be.

I want them to succeed, but their coaching is absolute garbage.

Redden even rating played with Pietrangelo 21 min . How was this guy so bad for NYR and now playing top pairing minutes on one of best teams in the league now ?
NYR are almost as much of a mush as the NY Jets

Clowe would be great here but as someone pointed out, he's going to get a 3-4 year deal at $5.2-5.5 million and he's not that type of player. His scoring is also down and will decline as he hits his early 30s.

I actually have an agreement with a Blues fan that if the Blues win it all, I have to have the Blues jersey I got in Canada on clearance in the early 2000s customized with Redden's name/# and send it to him.

hes able to be effective cause he has a top 5 defenseman to cover him so he can take risks and pinch.

Wow. How did the Islanders piss away that lead tonight? Looks like Tavares needs to have 7 points a night for them to have a decent chance to win.

Glad Ottawa lost too bad it was to the Pens, I feel like the Sens are getting cocky? Probably just a bad taste in my mouth from last year even though most their posters were cool. Glad Winnipeg and Tampa won, wish St. Louis, Chicago, and San Jose would start losing.
