Very true. He's shaken to the core. Lots of pressure and expectations to live up to, and it's not going his way. The only good news is that his former partner isn't doing too well either.

It's almost like we weren't playing one of the two best teams in the league on the road.

Scratch Cullen. Now. That slap-shot to the legs of the first D that lead to the goal was horrible, and it wasn't even his worst mistake. Trade Seto. Call up Matt Hackett (or Kuemper), and Zucker and Coyle.

Seriously, first line was on fire again. Fantasy hockey dream come true, that line. Granlund was... bad. Honestly, he didn't stink, he didn't really **** up but he showed no reason for his hype. Still playing with 0 confidence.

Bouchard was good. Aside from that unlucky penalty, he really showed great poise and puck skills. He should've gotten a point or two for his effort.

Bäcks... Well, a couple of OK saves but he flops around way too much. Really not confident on him at all.

Suter... WHY? Why are you doing this to us, man? He was way too soft on that last goal, although it was more on Brodz than anyone else but still, man he's not really been good at all.

Brodin was awesome, and Scandella was good. Gilbert was "meh", and Stoner + Falk were not that good. On paper, it looks like a good shutdown pairing but... I don't know, really.

Mitchell looked fresh out there for some reason. Clutter was "alright", really wasn't as bad as some say he has been.

BUT, this team needs to change these lines up for sure as the top line has scored 10 or our 13 goals. That's unnacceptable.

But you know what...Keith Jones was right just now when he said this team is "top heavy" and that we lack depth - the Blues were clearly the better team.

I say move Granlund to top line and move Koivu to center with PMB and Seto. Although as you can see even PMB and Seto are a bit of a drop off.

We need a healthy Latandresse and probably should have picked a guy like Arnott and this team would look much more legit. Oh, and if only we could take the Nick Leddy trade back...
But if we picked up Lats or an Arnott, we wouldn't have been able to get BOTH Suter and Parise. And since it sounded like it was either both or none at all, we could have ended up empty handed with those two.

Stoner was one if the biggest problems on the ice when that pair REPEATEDLY got pinned in their own zone. Trying or not, he was completely inept! Gilbert wasn't much better. Suter wasn't as bad as those three, Scandella and Brodin were the only defensemen I was truly pleased with.

I think we need to get a hold of some of "Michael's Secret Stuff" from Space Jam and give it to Suter.

Not gonna blame that game on Backs. He went down too early on two of those goals but our defense couldn't contain the sheer scoring depth of the Blues. Second line was invisible tonight, third line sucked outside of Clutter. Scandella and Brodin were solid but the rest of the d-men were invisible.

How 'bout this: Put Brodzi on the first line or second line and go from there. Afterall, Brodziak was our leading (goal) scorer last year.

We don't really have any space to make any changes, we will probably be stuck with what we have right now unless we have injuries.

Next year Hackett, Kuemper and Gustafsson will probably be battling for a 50/50 split with Harding.

He was helping his brother coach a bantams team or something, iirc.

People need to lighten up on the guy. I've been defending him since day 01 so I am not going to write up some long ass post again, but its getting ridiculous.

Every single goal he is out on the ice for, according to this board, is 100% his fault. He plays almost thirty minutes a game on average. Statistically, that would mean he's out there for half the goals against. But hey, not only is he out there playing half the game, but he plays against the other team's top or second line. That's where, on most team, the majority of points come from.

On this team, with this defense, with this brutal goalie play so far, he's going to be a minus. Some goals are going to be his fault.

But people need to stop blaming him for every single goal. It's ridiculous.

Did Healtey have 25? Even so, Brodziak was our friggin MVP last year and did put 22 between the pipes if I recall with not the best talent around him last year either.
