From the wings any of the old guys; Cleary, Sammy, Huskins, any of our bottom 6 forwards really. Though I don't see us selling off if we're in the hunt.
Huskins, signed as a UFA this week, will garner no return.
The usual suspects: cal, phx, la, clb, car, chi, and maybe just maybe detroit this year but we will see, they always seem to have some majik up their sleeves...
Did I just dream the last five years? Did Chicago not turn it around? Is it actually 2007? 2005?! Noooo!
As a Leafs fan, I'm starting to become aware of how poor of a shape our team is in. I think Carlyle is a great coach, but we don't have the right players to compete within his style.
Only players with the Leafs that I think can adjust to his system and play a good role with the team are...
JVR
Lupul
Kulemin
Komarov
Kadri
Bozak
Brown
Orr
Mcclement
Gardiner* With the Marlies, trying to get into game shape
Komisarek
Reimer
Frattin
Kostka (#6/7 man)
In my honest opinion, I think a true rebuild should begin and everyone else should be moved.
It's quite sad/funny that in that group that you posted (which I agree with, but would add Grabovski) I see no top line wingers (JVR has the potential, Lupul I'd say is more of a 2nd line winger as he has been throughout his career,) a weak centre core consisting of decent 2nd line centres (although Kadri could surprise) and funniest of all, I see 1, maybe 2, top 6 defenceman (depending how you see Komi's future role with the team/his play)
Kings look to be in trouble and need to rebuild and get young, so I could see at the deadline them moving guys like Richards and Lewis to the Canucks for Ebbett, Conaughton and 3rd round pick...

Wow this is laughable. We just won the Cup and we need to rebuild? And 27 year old Mike Richards and 26 year old Trevor Lewis need to be dealt for 30 year old Ebbett and 22 year old Conaughton?
In simplest terms, get lost.

Reason: not needed

My bad! I thought Lewis was at least 28 or older. And those who have watched Ebbett play closely know that he plays younger than he actually is. Much younger!

LOL what? He plays younger? Is that even a good thing

Ebbett plays like a ten year old, is that what you mean?
Canucks have serious issues remaining this season and relief may not arrive in time. Inm the event of a smoking crater type season, the Canucks might move a few guys. They'd be the same guys they want to move now, except they'll be more costly to aquire at the deadline.

No. He would cost more then any other team would be willing to pay. Detroit is a different team with Helm in the lineup, a conundrum really considering how much ice time he gets.
Weiss (nm. would probably take at least a 1st in '13, that could do it)
Mueller
Kovalev
Bergenheim (potentially)
Upshall (nm)
Kopecky
Matthias
Smithson
Parros
Santorelli
Skille
Jovanovski (35+)
Weaver
Ellerby
pretty much everyone except fleischmann, versteeg, huberdeau, goc, campbell, gudbranson, kulikov (could be had but would take a lot, at the deadline i doubt teams would do it), along with bjugstad, and markstrom obviously. anyone else could potentially be had for the right price.
Dallas could easily be a team looking to sell at the deadline. Jagr, Morrow, Ryder, all players who will be UFA's at the end of the year and if Dallas is out of a playoff spot those players could help some teams in need for that extra push.
C Tyler Bozak (UFA) - 2nd round pick W Clarke MacArthur (UFA) - 2nd round pick C Tim Connolly (UFA) - 3rd round pick (Leafs take on $2M) C David Steckel (UFA) - 5th round pick
D Cody Franson (RFA) - 2nd round pick
W Nikolai Kulemin - 1st round pick D Mike Komisarek - 3rd round pick (Leafs take on $1.5M)
If the Wild aren't looking like they'll be making the playoffs come deadline, they'll be sellers. We have a number of prospects looking to jump into the lineup but no spots to give them. I could easily see these players being on the block:
Dallas could be, i know were getting benn back, but were just horrible on the back end...not a playoff team.
