It's not a huge difference this early in the season but I imagine Claude will put Tuukka up against the better team in this back to back.

Although, he may opt to play Tuukka right away versus Carolina in order to give him an extra day off leading up to Buffalo on Thursday. Hmm.. *strokes beard*
I don't know, you can argue both sides.

You have a good point, but also Carolina has always been a hard team for us with ward etc..

I wouldn't be shocked if khudobin got the start for Carolina, decisons decisons...

I really think Tuukka will start, also because its on the road in the Carolina game.
Then Khudobin at home vs NJ. We will see though.

I think they'll put Khudobin in. Let's see if he can solve the almighty Canes.

Really hoping it's the NESN feed on Center Ice. I view Tripp Tracy the same way every other fanbase sees Jack Edwards.

Seguin scored his first goal of the season last year in I think the fourth? game of the season at Carolina.

From there on out, he did just fine. This will be game 5, but you get the picture.

Bruins routinely suck against Carolina. I hope the trend doesn't continue. They're kind of an annoying team.

couple of mildly interesting stats so far

the third line is a combined minus 8 and has certainly been our overall weakest line thus far

Tyler Seguin, despite fighting it a bit and only putting up one assist so far, still leads the team in +/- with +4. Patrice Bergeron by comparison has 2 points (1 g 1 a) and is only +2

I hope they start Khudobin, he needs to be fresh and I always thought Carolina wasn't a great team for Tuukka...that said, we might see them in the playoffs so either way Tuukka would have to play them

despite the above stat thoughts, the B's still have taken 7 out of 8 possible, and have looked down right sloppy at times.

If the passes start clicking more consistently and Seguin heats up...look out. Something tells me this team will heat up at the correct time.
The third line has been absolute rubbish. I don't know what Rich Peverley is doing out there. He is chasing all the time, it's like he forgot how to go where the puck is going to be. He played during the lockout, I thought he would be good. Chris Kelly has been good on he PK (so has Pevvy) but we need more. They also have Chris Bourque who, in my opinion, is not an NHL player. Chiarelli should have signed Mike Knuble to add some "weight" to the line.

Seguin is getting his chances. He was clearly getting frustrated against the Isles. This is where the coaching staff has to do a good job. Keep him working hard (which he has been for the most part) and focused. Eventually, they will start going in for him and the floodgates will open.

I start Tuukka tomorrow, Khudobin Tuesday and Tuukka Wednesday.

Don't get caught up in the 'Canes being the 'Canes. Play our game, beat them up when/if we get a comfortable lead.

Sad about Quaider.

Bruins seem to almost always suck against Carolina. Hopefully that trend goes away tomorrow.

I don't particularly care who starts in goal. I am not so sure the issue is the goalie as long as the team plays solid defense in front of him and scores some goals.

Seguin needs to find his game-he has had a lot of close ones but he needs to pick up his game and hit the net.

I can not stand Staal. He's so smug. Tuukka starting will be interesting since Ward said dumb things about him last year.

should be a good game, i think the additions of semin and staal make this team much better, but adding corvo will hurt them. I would like to see rask start, dont want him having another day off. Dont know how but the canes rope us into penalty trouble every time we play, so i believe discipline is the key to winning this one. Being on the road getting the Chara E.Staal match up is very important too.

Kind of?

Too often they are like that yappy kid in the schoolyard who just aggrivates everyone but won`t throw the knuckles

What did Ward say about Tuukka last year?

I agree that the B's always seem prone to poor discipline when they play this team.

Semin and Jordan Staal probably help with offensive fire power, but Carolina has always seemed to be weak on defense to me (with or without Corvo).

Bruins need to find an offensive game though-and quit hitting posts.

Any updates on Seidenberg? With McQuaid out I really hope Seidenberg will be back in tonight

Edit: Nevermind, apparently he was in on Friday. I completely missed that game and that news
