He's already been back in the AHL once since his initial demotion. With the way he produces in Reading, he's bound to get another shot.

Forsberg also had a beautiful assist on the second goal but they must have mixed up #6 and #16.

thanks for the link, how do they miss a number like that? Wonder if they'll correct it. Lol, #6 wasn't even on the ice for that goal

Nice to hear of Forsberg's playmaking, I remember that was a knock Bob McKenzie had on him.

Djoos is suddenly scoring; 2+2 in the last 6 games.
Yesterday's ice time: 22:44
The interesting thing is that even though he's getting some PP time, both goals (and one of the assists) were at even strength.
And both goals were from very nice shots. No redirects or tap-ins here.

Yesterday's (1/29) goal at about 1:50 into the highlights:

The game winner from 1/18, at about 2:30:

Looks like they changed the scoresheet and gave Forsberg the assist

Hey, rangers fan coming in peace.

How do you guys think Riley Barber has looked in college and what kind of chances do you think ge has of becoming an NHL'er? I liked the little I've seen of him in the wjc but am not sure how his skills translate to the next level. Whatever the case is he seems like a steal being picked up that late. What kind if value do you think he has now if you were to move him for a draft pick? A third?

Thanks and best of luck this season.

Riley has been one of the best NCAA freshmen this year (probably even the best). As you said, it's difficult to say how skill will translate to the next level therefore it's a safe assumption that his potential value for our organization is higher than what we could fetch trading him. I know I wouldn't trade him for a 3rd.

13-15-28 in 30 games so far this year, after 8-9-17 in 43 last year.

Really nice to see that kind of progression out of a prospect.

2012 draft overall is looking pretty darn good so far.

He's at 13+17 = 30 in 31 games (Eliteprospects is a game behind)

Thomas DiPauli has very quietly assembled a three-game point streak for Notre Dame in the NCAA. Two goals, one assist, and +3 in that stretch. Meanwhile, Austin Wuthrich continues to struggle, and looks to have picked up an injury. Has anyone got any info on that?

DiPauli I think among longshot candidates for 2014 WJC team.

I think so too. Plenty of similar cases on 2012 team, like Sean Kuraly, Blake Pietela, Vince Trocheck.

Bad news: https://twitter.com/JacobWare95/stat...94166623457280

Thomas DiPauli got 2As tonight. Now 2G, 3A in his last five games. Tear.

Wuthrich still out. Any news there?
