If you have another prospect who is a lock to be a bottom line NHL forward (kinda like our Garrett Mitchell), I'll take him.
it starts with the 1st. That's a problem for starters. Hawks won't trade their 1st. Especially not for a player that was traded for a 2nd + Eakin

McPhee won't trade away roster players at the deadline if the Caps' are losing. People might get the crazy idea that he doesn't actually know what he's doing and that he peaked as a GM in 1998.

2nd and Eakin is way more than a first. It was second and an NHL-ready with 2nd line potential. If you give us a prospect like that, keep your 1st.

Watch yesterday's game against the Devils if you want to see Neuvy.
No, Neuvirth does not improve our #1 position in net. I have seen Neuvy play LOTS of times. He's prone to giving up a bad goal a game just like Crow.

Bad goal a game? I'd say bad goal 5 or 6 games, but it's really bad.

SJ's bottom-6 is filled up with good grinders, we need more talented speedy bottom 6'ers (like Gomez)

Cody Eakin isn't some throwaway prospect. He's off to a very good start in Dallas. 3 points in 5 games so far.

He's a lock to be a third liner and may very well be a second-liner. That's what late first-rounders usually are.
