I heard there were only 6 more 30 minute episodes. That's disappointing.

What were people expecting? Bergevin and Meehan discussing Subban's contract?

Okay show besides the overdone music, narrator's voice and slomo. (You guys should check out some of NBA weekly shows. It's way more overdone, hyped and cheesy than this.)

LOL, I remember thinking how that was so...noticeable. (Didn't stand out at all live.) It was just funny the way it was filmed for some reason. Otherwise, I had previously said I wasn't expecting much from this thing and it would be poor production value, etc. I could not have been more wrong. Caught the replay tonight. Total Habsgasm. Maybe the game before had something to do with it. Was pretty cool to see Bergevin talking to the team. Can't wait to see more and hopefully, they'll have some terrific story lines should we get through the next 3-4 games decently.

Ya, when Bergerin and Therrien was talking to the team, and them talking to Alex giving him the good news, were def the highlights.

re: Bergevin's speech - it was IMO extremely genuine, serious and Al Pacino-esque. (As much as you really can be.) Without devolving into its implications, it really gave me an insight into what Bergy is thinking wrt Subban (impressions only, of course). The former really means business when it comes to us getting us a Cup. In a separate spot, he was talking about how you win a cup through drafting and having a core of young players basically on the cheap while adding core pieces. He knows what he's doing.

And yeah, damn you Mulder!!!No more stepping on the CH, it causes appendicitis.

Great stuff loved the show and can't wait until the next one. Love how everyone is involved around the young Galchenyuk. I love Saku but this didn't happen years ago

This. "Last season is unacceptable" and his strong belief of building through the draft - two of the things he said that I really loved.

Almost done watching ep 1

Good production value, proper editing and good clips. All and all, a well directed product.

The constant epic music is a bit much though, along with the narrator, but that's just cherry picking at this point.

Watched episode one, not bad but would have loved more talking from the players. Thats what the "road to winter classic", "x/x 24/7" did so well, gave us a peek at the players honest personalities.

+1 Cheesy music getting on my nerves and so does the slow-mo filler scenes (outside, fans, whatever...). Overall pretty good tho.

dont know if anyone else picked up on this but when MB and MT are telling Gally that he's staying MB says I got a call from Igor and I would call him back to let him know as well. Is Igor Gally's dad and if it is what is he doing calling MB about is status, last thing we need is a players father involved in his development, although he's done a good job so far being a father and playing his role, but let the pros take care of your kid from now on. Again I could be way off.

His father is named Alex Galchenyuk Sr. and he played for the Soviet Union in 1987 World Jrs.

Igor refers to somebody you might have heard of, Igor Larionov. He is the agent for Yakupov and Galchenyuk.
