0-8 in SO. Even if you suck at SO, you ought to get one right once a while. But not this team.
Terrible.

We'll trade one of them + other assets to Montreal in and around April for Brian Gionta. MTL will be one of the worst teams in the league this year.

I think he will, but not this year. Either trade deadline next year if Montreal is out, or as a UFA in 2014. Especially if Stephen says.

so I went to a Trenton Titans game last night (alot of fun btw) and I didn't realize Scott Wedgewood was playing for them. He replaced the starter and gave up the gwg but he looked good.

Oh while at the game, the center scoreboard had the word NOISE lit up so the crowd would make some noise. Well the guy in front of me just yelled the word noise out loud. Lmao and he was serious wow!

Good they need to do away with this player. I know he's had some tough luck, and I wish him the best. However I think his spot could be better used by Merrill if he turns pro next year, or one of the other guys we've drafted.

Corrente is still on the Reserve List, so that means he's probably still under contract.

Of all the Devils prospects I'm excited about Burlon the most. I thought after last year's dismal showing in Albany he was done for but 10 points in 24 games and a +9 rating shows big improvement. Will he be a top pairing guy in the NHL? no. But I do think he has a shot at a good NHL career as a Josh Gorges type player.

As for Gelinas and Urbom, I also thing they have NHL careers ahead of them. That makes the Devils right now 11 defenseman deep, 12 if you count Jay Leach.

And I've been high on Gelinas for a while. That leaves you with... Urbom.

He was released from his minor league contract. Don't really know what that means with the NHL team but I'd assume we still have his rights. It's moot though because he's out for the year and I'm pretty sure he's a FA again this summer.

Didn't you compare Burlon unfavourably with Daryl Andrews a couple of years ago.

I think i compared him to Matt De Marchi. If Burlon were to have another sub-par year in Albany like he had last year, then he would be another Matt De Marchi.

But he's stepped up his game.

I`ll take the Yuro dude!

Wait, so you guys are saying that Burlon can be a player? A real one? Even a possible Greene replacement? That`s terrific news!

Oh wait.
