Obviously we all went them to win every game but I doubt they go 48-0-0 (but who knows right!! LOL!).

That said, it seems reasonable to me to think they can get a point/game in this stretch and come home with 18 points. That would give them 75% of all possible points through the first quarter (1/4) of their season AND have a very favorable remainder of their schedule with 22 of the remaining 36 games at the UC.

Agree?

6+

I think the team can end up 10-2-0 or 9-2-1 after that trip. Would be a perfect start. After that trip 1/4 is played and having 18-20 Points already would be GREAT.

If we end with 59 Points, it would be the same as a 100 pt season with a 82 game schedule. I think 55 Points will be the point we can say for sure that we make the POs. Only 43 more points needed

19 out of your first 24 is one hell of a start.

The safe answer I suppose is 6 or better. None of these are easy games at all and pit the Blackhawks up against a buffet of Western Conference playoff contenders.

I'd like to think that the team's confidence will carry them through and the constant travel will keep in them in "one game at a time" mode, with players forging relationships and linemates coming together to succeed in hostile environments.

7-8. Except for SJ, the other teams we're playing have had rough starts. They're all very beatable. I think we should do well.

I am not taking the start of the season into account. Anytime a team takes a long road trip if they come out over .500 it's a victory. 7+ points is a very successful road trip.

I'll take half the possible points (six), but I think they can get as many as nine. However, getting an extra point or two would not surprise me, but I'll take a modest six or seven points, which would give us 18 or 19 of the first 24 with a heavy home stretch right after.

I'm thinking we will get 8. As long as we go at least .500, ill be ok with it.

I'd be fine if we got 4 pts as long as those points came from absolute blowouts to Vancouver and SJ.

Vancouver because it's always hilarious when we beat them and SJ because we need to make a statement. There are a few teams in the West that are really going to compete for 1st place and SJ is at the top of the heap. I'd like to cut them down a bit if we can.

I agree with all of those. Just a bad vibe about the Wild, especially with it being @ Minnesota. Canucks are terrible right now. Flames are mediocre as usual. Sharks are lethal on offense right now, that will be a shootout. Smith I think will be back by then, but not scared of them at all. Preds don't impress me one bit.

Especially on a long road trip, effectively going .500+ is very good.

Really? Did not realize this. Well, if that's the case, I'd say those are games we definitely should win.

Call me crazy, but 10 points is not out of reach. I'm going to say we get a modest six to eight points, but the potential is there to get 10.

Well, if we all are going to ask nicely let's just make it 12.

In all seriousness I do not see why the Hawks cannot get 9+. The trip is not nearly as brutally condensed as the first leg of the schedule has been. They should have fresher legs for most of the trip.
