Is it just my selectiveness or what...
I feel exactly the same way. The West coast teams that I have watched look so much better.

Also impressive to see what Hitchcock has done with the Blues. Their a damn fun team to watch -- the scorers score, the hitters hit, they get solid d-zone play, but they play like men.

#Habs say Marc Bergevin and Michel Therrien notified Brendan Gallagher and Alex Galchenyuk this morning that they will remain with the team.

I have watched every Wild game, he isn't near as good without Weber. I never liked the contract at the time it was signed either. He relied upon Weber alot more than most wanted to believe.

He is still a very good player who can play big minutes.

Sekera is such a steal, when Advanced Stats and Contract are compared to someone like Suter.

Tim Gleason holding his own against Lucic in a fight.God what I would give for a legit top 6 forward or top 4 dman who could take Lucic in a fight, not just a goon scrub like Scott who should beat up Lucic as that is all he is good for.

Also PK Subban supposedly signed at 2 years/5 million.Kind of sickening the Habs get Subban for 2 seasons at 5 million, which is half a million less then what Myers makes a year

I can't believe they got that deal done for 2 years/5 mil, I thought there was no chance. Compare to Myers 7 years/38 mil

Myers 49 points and calder in his rookie season really made us pay up.

Reported now it's actually 5.75 mil

They're also RFA years as opposed to the handful of UFA years the Sabres bought with Myers. Anyone know what his RFA/UFA status will be at the expiration of this contract, if it's what it's reported to be?

EDIT: Looks like he's gonna have 1 more year of RFA after the deal expires. Not bad for Montreal, although they're still gonna have to pay through the teeth if he keeps progressing and they want him long term after that contract expires...

Gleason handed Lucic his worst loss as a professional a few years back, too.

@TSNRyanRishaug: Landeskog not expected to play tonite. Issues with head and leg.

Looks like Landeskog is suffering some ill effects from that Stuart hit.

Watching around the league, we are just so inferior to many other teams. The Bruins are going to hand us our jocks on Thursday. It could get ugly. I know this sounds like a broken record, but I'm honestly just really disappointed with how we look. Our effort isn't even there. It's frustrating....

Oh well. I know we can't possibly know who this team is for at least another 10 games or so, but man, I can't shake the feeling that this could be an ugly year for us

I was shocked the team allowed him back on the ice after that hit. I know he got right up and skated to the bench fine, but with all the concussion problems you've gotta play it safe.

I don't know if it's just our selective viewing or what, but to me it just seems like we're so slow. Maybe it's just us, we've grown so accustomed to it. No idea.. I was watching the Blue Jackets tonight and they seemed to play with a lot of speed and energy, our team looks like snails compared to their forwards.

It's painful to watch sometimes how boring this team is.

Edmonton's PP was already great and now they added Schultz to it, so jealous of their PP. We've been missing a good PP qb for so damn long, Markov returns and instantly makes Montreal's PP good again.

If you're gonna have an ugly year, maybe this is the year to do it with some real franchise talent at the top end of the draft and a lot of depth for all those 2nd round picks we'll have after trading our UFAs-to-be at the deadline...

Stars placed Derek Roy on IR today. Groin injury.

Also Kassian is playing great. Wish there was a way we could still have him and CoHo.

I don't know if Kassian will stick with the Sedins even strength, but he's going to score a good amount of goals in front of the net on the PP with those two.
