To Pittsburgh:
PK Subban
Lars Eller
Max Pacioretty
Rene Bourque
To Montreal:
Evgeni Malkin
Miscellaneous roster dumps
Montreal gets an elite player for the first time since Patrick Roy. Pittsburgh improves at defense, gets a placeholder on center (Eller), and finally has an offensive winger better than Pascal Dupuis to play with Crosby.
This is actually well thought out. We do lose a lot of size though. Swap Bourque for a 2nd rounder?

I don't mean to rock the boat here on my first post. But never in a million years should anyone want this a trade like this to happen. And never in a million years would bergevin do a multi player trade of any combination involving p.k., max pac, or bourque. Our team is playing well right now and a trade like that would DESTROY our nucleus and put us right back into the mess that gauthier created. Our team has chemistry, we do not have a "elite" forward but right now why go for one? we are getting scoring from every line, actually 3.25 goals per game. Any team that you can expect to score 3 to 4 goals every game is a dangerous team to play against. We are especially dangerous because right now we are doing that but we have the rock Carey Price and some damn good defenders in front of him. alot of other high scoring teams don't have this.
On a side note Bourque is our best player right now if you don't look at the score sheet. He is working his ass off every game and it show's. He wants to play for this team now.And he looks real good out there.
The only players you can expect to see moved in the near future are
Perry would have grown up around the Theo era, right?
I sometimes wonder what it would be like growing up with the Habs being, well, not as great as when I was going up (29 years old). Sure, as a teenager until now, it's gone from abysmal to Gainey restarting the motor and giving us some great playoff series (Koivu, Kovy, etc.), but wow, I wonder what it takes for a kid from London to be a Habs fan through those years. Oh right...the other option is the Laffs.
