Summary of Chara's Interview:
-everyone is more or less in good shape, and the vets had to take charge immediately because of the condensed camp.
-Hamilton is willing to listen to the older guys. He is very humble and has gotten along great with the other players on the team.
-Thoughts on the shortened schedule: "It's going to be very crucial with how we take care of our bodies. It will be a sprint to the finish."
-Lucic is in really good shape, contrary to popular belief, despite not going overseas. He's not in top-notch playing shape, but he's close and is getting there.
Thanks much for the summary!

I hope so. I love how regular people, even if they played some college sports, don't understand the difference between being an actual professional even if that person rides the bench. It's always funny when a guy everyone considered a scrub can come out and destroy people that are really pretty good.
I expected at least one guy to put up a fair fight.
It just makes me feel better about professional sports, when even a guy like Scal (no offense Scal, you're just no Kobe) dominates much younger guys who we think are quick/great shooters/defenders etc. I kinda get the feeling that even the 300 pound football players in the trenches would crush me in a foot race.

They probabley could. ITs nothing against you. You have to think of as professional athletes as the best of the best of the best. I mean its such a small percentage that even practice squad players could beat us all badly in any sport really. I had a roommate of mine say he could get 15 pts in an nba game. We had an argument for about week over it. It looks easy on tv.. if it actually was easy we would be playing. I think wilfork if he got going would easily beat me in a foot race haha.

good breakdown, and just one more thing.....
He was asked (baited) to comment on the Mcquaid/Robins dustup and he refused to take the bait. "You have to treat this game like you would treat any other game...Robins is a player that goes hard all the time and doesn't take shortcuts....gotta respect that...etc.". Hockey players play hockey, and part of playing hockey is the unique physical dimension to the sport. Good on ya Z!

Good response. Chara has come such a long way with the media, and has just about perfected the art of saying the right thing and giving the obvious cliche answer...without it coming across as canned.
Heard them on the ride in this morning. Hilarious. Love all the pretenders who thought they could compete. They just got smashed by a dude who was considered a scrub in that league.
Has anybody listened to EEI or the Sports Hub today? They still doing Pats post-mortum or have they mentioned the Bruins? Just curious.
Haven't listened to WEEI, but what a poster recently said doesn't surprise me.
Watching Felger & Mazz on Comcast now. Felger mentioned the Bruins once, and is still taking calls from ticked off Pats fans. Before the commercial break he kinda got called out by a caller. Listened to T&R earlier today and they had Haggs on to talk about the first 2 games and what lies ahead. Didn't listen to any of Gresh & Zo. I would expect that by Friday, or Monday next week, 98.5 will be in full Bruins mode with the occasional segment where Felger rips the Celtics if they continue to struggle. WEEI? They'll probably be wall-to-wall Celtics. I don't listen to Planet Mikey, but a buddy of mine who does says that both he and John Ryder haven't mentioned the word "Bruins" in a sentence since last April during the night shift.
As I read the article I kept saying to myself "what about Bedard? He doesn't fit this mold", and sure enough, towards the end, he was given props. Solid analyst.
