- he's had crappy coaches
- being a pest in his locker room is speculation, and my guess would be such far fetched speculation that even Lassie would say "Eff it"
- Doughty's actions last year were "selfish" I guess too eh?

The Oilers dont need any toxic heads in their room.
- when has PK ever said "PK is..." or "PK isn't"?!?! Sounds like you don't know what "speaking in the third person" is?
- don't play it like he's the only one to ever have done this
- give me an example where he put himself before his team...

Would really like to stop reading any more Subban for Hall trade proposals...Hall will not be as good as Oiler fan think he'll be, scouts were wrong, Seguin is and will by far be the better player.

He is solid on defense, try watching him before you make comments like that.

Stats also show this, best defensive defensement with Georges last year and best on the pk.

Really? You call that solid? You have quite low standards.

He's a beast on the PP and can read the play like very few can but solid on defense he is not.

He's talking about Schultz. Not Subban.

Players games never evolve guys. What they did in Junior is what they'll be for the rest of their lives, end of story.

Subban sucks at D he can only do spinarama's and play on the PP.

To say you're in the minority with that opinion is a huge understatement. As another poster said- please watch him play before commenting.

Ryan Murphy has a negative value in my books. He's one of a dozen players I pray never wear the Hab's jersey.

Murphy is ok as a wildcard, but I think he ought to have more value to the 'Canes than he does in a trade atm, the 1st is ok, and Boychuk is more in the wildcard vein again... I think it is still missing a key present-tense asset, preferably on D. Others have suggested McBain. I'm not so sure I like him as being high enough quality here, though, so even if you added him, I'd probably be shopping for another combination elsewhere.

So is there ANY sort of package the Flyers can put together without giving up Couturier, their next couple 1st round picks, and preferrably B. Schenn? (I wouldn't call him untouchable, but I'd hate to move him)

Some mix of:

Voracek
Laughton
Read
Simmonds
Cousins
Gostisbehere
fringe guys (Akeson, McGinn, Wellwood, etc.)
any other picks?

Voracek, Laughton, Akeson, couple 2nds/3rds
for
Subban

???

I'm not sure why, but McBain can sometimes get a bad rap on these boards. Yeah, he sat out the first two games, but I really don't think that was a reflection on him. Sanguinetti was playing really well during the lock out in the AHL, management wanted to see him with the big club. Since started playing, McBain has looked really solid. I would hate to deal him AND Murphy, but I might consider it - NOT with the 1st rounder, though. A package of Murphy, McBain and Boychuk is pretty hefty, imo..

I don't think so. Would you trade Couturier for a mix of:
Bourque
Desharnais
Leblanc
Archambault
Pateryn
McMillan
"couple 2nds"

?

You, I like. Someone speaking in a reasonable manner is quite refreshing. I also agree with a lot of the Oiler fans saying they don't want to add Subban at the expense of Hall. The Oilers could definitely use Subban, but if they have to give up Hall to do it, I can understand the desire to see how Schultz shapes up first. We should all leave it at that. Both players are great in their own rights, neither team does the deal. No other insults or commetns are needed.

I would shoot Bergevin in the head. Just gross. Thanks, but no thanks.

How about Kaberle, Leblanc, Beaulieu for Nugent-Hopkins, though?

What if we throw in a 4th ?

If you would rather, we can just offer sheet him for 6 years @ 5 Mil and pay a 1st,2nd & 3rd ?

You'd be doing us a favor, as MB would most certainly match and this bologna fest would all be over.
