Untrue. Plenty of blame to go around, but Sacco's teams make the same mistakes over and over.

3 seasons in a row of missed playoffs. Not many coaches survive that run.

Touche. Well played.

Does anyone know if Landeskog's injury is cucussion related?

Avs wouldn't release it if it was. They would look terrible for allowing him back on the ice.

By weeks end they'll call it a torso injury. Typical of the avs tho letting him comeback in a game that was basically over. Good job morons.

I'm assuming concussion until proven otherwise. It's pretty tough to watch this team when the same absurd luck keeps repeating every year. Landeskog and Downie in the span of a few days? Our good ol' Canadian boy goes to play in the KHL? Flash to a ****ing PE, Mueller damaged for two years within 15 games of arriving, Jones knee exploding and losing his speed etc etc. All going back to Sakic getting his hand in a snowblower

They shouldn't have let him back on ice after a crushing hit like that. Extremely embarrasing for the coaching staff and team doctor, perhaps jeopordizing the career of their young Calder winner and team Captain.

Just because he didn't black out or cried like a girl it was still a hit to his head.

Similar to O'Brien playing with a bust knee last year in a 0-4 game against the Blues to make the injury worse.

Only this was 100X more idiotic than what happened with SOB.

Totally sucks about the Landeskog thing. Really wanted to see him live again. Duchene gonna have to carry the offense.

Staz needs to step up. No more damn excuses for this guy. His line HAS to pick it up. I also don't think the injury to Landy is too serious as long as he stays with the team on the road trip.

Hard to make a lineup with the players we have available. Perhaps see how Olver does with Duchene.

Olver - Duchene - Parenteau
McGinn - Stastny - Jones
Kobasew - Mitchell - Hejduk
McLeod - Malone - Bordeleau

I think we had one or two games last year when I thought "finally we'll get to use our forward depth" and then something happened (possibly Duchene going down with a knee injury). It's like we never get to enjoy the team we have for one reason or another.

I agree.

Now is the time for Stastny to step up and earn his paycheck.

This game is going to be painful to watch without Landeskog. Who knows what transpired in between the doctors and Landeskog. The only fact we have is he's out for this game and possibly longer. I just want to cry right now.

I agree with the Stastny comments, gotta step up.

Also I think we will roll with 7 defense and 11 forwards.

Bad news. Hopefully he's okay and we can pick up the W without him.

Avs are really stepping up their tank efforts. Edmonton's gunna have some real competition for the first overall pick this year.

It shouldn't be a huge loss for one game, he hasn't done that much until now. Was hoping to see him with Stastny though

If it's a head/neck injury, it sure as hell ain't going to be just one game.

He dominated the kings game in the third and was a huge reason we came out with a win.

This will be known soon... a forward will have to come up to make sure we have somebody to step in incase of injury on the road trip.
