Yea, JVR should really be one of the last players we move. This guy has huge potential, and I think at worst at is a 20 goal, 50 point player. Kulemin is great, but his absolute peak is JVR's worst. He (Kule) would be the best forward I move for ROR.
Can people stop with the Kessel trade talk, my sides hurt too much.
Thank god our GM isn't as impatient as some of our fans. When we start to get things together (mostly, get a good goalie) Kessel will be important to us. He is the guy that leads the offence. He will spark a come back, ice a game for good. His offensive abilities are very rare, and when he has the support, he is one of the best scoring forwards in the game.

Maybe its just me, but I'm not huge on Pittsbughs prospect pool and the 1st rounder will be 20-30ish overall. PASS
I dont see one player on that lists that screams top tier upside, we gotta swing for the fences.... we already have good depth in our farm system
Doug MacLean doesn't think the leafs would be able to get Jack Johnson for Kessel lol. And he thinks Read + 1st is something we should target
Dude don't bother with these guys when talking Leafs... They're not telling the truth they're creating controversy to have something to talk about. This is the type of crap that Brian Burke tried to fight cause it alienates the players... It's bad enough nobody elite wants to sign here cause of the way the Toronto media treats the players and want no part of it cause of the pressures it creates at home with there Kids and wives when they get bashed and constantly rumored to be traded now they're pushing 25 year old Kessel out of town for no reason at all. Like Hello! McFly you could use a 25 year old star scoring winger if a rebuild is in the works
If Kessel wont re-sign with the Leafs it's because of stupid things like this pushing him out of town.

Those forwards won't get it done. You need to give up a fairly significant young forward. Neither Bozak nor Frattin are that.
Kulemin or Kadri has to be in there, otherwise Sherman should get canned. I would personally prefer to move Kulemin over Kadri.
I don't get this. ROR is a fine young player but no star. He isn't very big, doesn't play physical and was drafted in the second round due to concerns with his skating. His offensive potential is probably 65 points. A very good young player but not heads and shoulders above Bozak + a 2nd. In this deep draft the second could be just as good.
I don't wanna trade Kessel, I still think he's the most important piece of our offense going forward, but for the sake of discussion...
I like the Blues as a trading partner. Don't know whether or not they'd be interested in Kessel, but they have so many players I want on Toronto lol.
Would like to see something around Patrik Berglund, Ty Rattie, and a 1st Rounder. Though I don't think I'd do that deal, but just throwing it out there for the sake of discussion.
