That was one thing Crawford was good at, getting mad.
Even if Crawford was a guy who couldn't learn to coach in the new NHL, you can't deny he had spunk. Also had no bitter feelings, I've never seen Dallas get so much attention on TSN as they did when Crawford was on the TSN panel.
BTW ... I'm not saying it's impossible they can't recover, but it's harder to do that this year than any other year.
The coach and team have been saying over and over again that a losing streak can end the season ... welcome to the losing streak. They looked great against Detroit a week ago, but it's the 2nd night of a B2B.
It's idiotic they can't figure it out, but they haven't yet. Hopefully tomorrow is the start of a new trend, but I'm not holding my breath.
The man responsible for the 2009 draft (one that was awesome by the way) was already sacked. IMO, we'll never no for sure, but I believe he was fired for that pick.
I believe they sacked the guy who was responsible for Campbell too, is that right?
I bring up all the damn time, but I can't help it. I was stunned when Glennie said Dallas never even talked to him before the draft. That's assinine. They scouted Chiasson like he was going to marry one of their daughters.
Well, Nieuwendyk nut-huggers will always tell you to "forget the past" when it comes to that, or firing Tippett or hiring Crawfish or picking Campbell over the defensemen we needed.
But when it comes to Hicks screwing this franchise, it's always "Never will it be forgot!"
They said that about Ott's before, and that didn't turn out true.
It's a Dallas media problem. We don't typically get the full details for whatever reason.
CapGeek is amazing, and they're one of my favorite websites. For whatever reason, we hear about NTC down the line. The first time I saw Ott's NTC was limited was when Heika mentioned it down the line, and then Ott mentioned it in a radio interview.
