no way. build around weber, rinne, josi, wilson, smith (?), ellis, bourque... sell off anyone on the decline. fisher, gill, gaustad, legwand, even erat. draft high this year. stock pile picks.. bring some young guys later on. watson, latta, blum, ect

I don't think having a captain who wants to be on another team is helping. Certainly we have bigger problems, but I can't imagine that being a positive...

Are you getting the games now (FSTN) or is it gamecenter?
How you doin"? !!
We're disappointed every year.
Just remember, they're not as good as we want them to be, and they're not as bad as we think they are.

I don't think we need a full-on rebuild.

We need a freakin top line center. After that, things mostly fall into place.

For example, let's say we get someone like Joe Pavelski. Strong on draws. Good shooter. Responsible defensively. Seems like that would fit our team mold, no?

Wilson-Pavelski-Erat
Bourque-Legwand-Hornqvist
Kostitsyn-Fisher-Spaling
Hendricks-Gaustad-Halischuk

(this assumes we resign our RFAs and let Yip and McGrattan go).

At least Clune and Yip look like they care. Don't particularly like digging at a goalie late, but at least he's willing to take a bit of punishment.

Josi is a stud, through and through. Special player.

How are we taking Pavelski, from a clearly content undefeated team, for no roster players?

Josi is playing better then Weber. At least his shot is on net. We have got to get our blue line shooting as our forwards sure don't do it.

Both Josi and Ellis getting good shots on net, rebound chances as well.

Did Josi just shoot as many times as entire team has? In one shift?

Its makes little sense to wish for a top 6 forward unless you want to Weber Rinne or Josi. Thats all we got to bargan with. The remainder of all our forwards to include the guys in milwaukee are 3 liners on any other team. So why make outlandish wishful statments.
