What a ridiculous last minute of the third in Edmonton.

Yeah I'm going to have to make sure I watch that game, or atleast the final 2 minutes of it.

I didn't know what was more classless in that one. The fans throwing garbage on the ice or the refs trying to help our enemies win?

God I love the Coyotes
Pardon the thread jack, I am also a former Leafs fan after 40 years. Why did you change?

That penalty was really STUPID! The hit was a little sketch(looked like the shoulder hit the head), but still, you should know better than to give the Sharks a 4 minute power play right now. I'd prefer someone just try to come back and hit Stuart just as hard the next time he's on the ice.

How did we (along with a lot of other teams) completely miss Cory Conacher?

One of the worst calls I've ever seen. Right up there with some of the crap McGeough pulled.

Anyone see that avalanche sharks game? Stuart hits landeskog in the head and the homer play by play calls it clean. What a joke!

Here is the ensuing fight.

Tonights game between LA and Vancouver should be a great one as I hope both teams beat the piss out of each other with the Kings getting no points.

Sharks should win the Pacific easily. They are bang on right now. Marleau and Thornton are on a 200+ point each 82 game pace. Insane. The highest seed the Coyotes can realistically get is probably #5.

Agree, so far it is interesting.

Agree with this also and remember it is a shorter season so those 5 wins for the Sharks are huge. They just need about 20 more wins out of the remaining 43 games to lock in a playoff spot.

In terms of likely playoff teams... Chicago, San Jose, Minnesota, St. Louis are all likely a lock given how strong they all are and their current performance. That leaves 4 spots for the remaining 11 teams.

The high skill teams, San Jose and Chicago, certainly have had an advantage with no training camp, and the river hockey so far. It is still too early to tell, who is in and out for sure, but come playoff time, it will be about defense and goal tending. Lets hope the coyotes can get in, even a late seed, and I like there chances...

I was going to watch the Nashville/San Jose game, but good god. Its 5-4 Anaheim not even done with the 2nd period right now over the Kings. I just hope this game doesn't go to OT.

Ducks just got the 6th goal of the game against the Kings. I know it's still early in the season, but it doesn't take much to be at the point where you won't make the playoffs. Kings are having a rough start, and how insane would it be if the Kings won the Stanley Cup, but then couldn't even make the playoffs the following year? How often has that happened?

Ducks just beat the Kings, and got 7 goals. Preds over the Sharks 1-0(hopefully the Sharks lose in regulation, we could use that).

Damnit, Sharks just scored a PP goal. DON'T PUT THIS TEAM ON THE PP! COYOTES, TAKE NOTICE!!! STAY OUT OF THE BOX!!!! Hopefully Nashville can get another goal in regulation.

Sharks lose in regulation to the Ducks. Technically we are 7 points behind them right now as we have a game in hand. Going to have to continue to play good hockey, and we should gain some ground.

Devils pick up Loktionov from Kings for a 5th rounder. Shame we couldnt do that. I guess the Kings would never have made that deal with us.

Yotes are exactly .500 in points %. Been climbing steadily. Now that it looks like the silly season is over I think we'll be right back in the thick of it in no time.

The entire line of Boedker, Hanzal and Vrbata is having a career year. Hanzal and Boedker by quite a bit. Going to need them to continue if the yotes are going to break out of the pack of mediocrity.
