The NBA even offered to loan the Maloof's $3 million just to keep the project moving. They turned it down.
All this occurring shortly after this…
"There's going to be a beacon of light, shining bright, in 2015 — a brand new arena,"
- Gavin Maloof said after thanking Kings fans, Johnson, NBA Commissioner David Stern and arena operator AEG.
The city was going to take on a tax hike and even higher city parking so that the Maloof's could turn a huge profit on the new arena/enterainment center.
Now not only do they seem dead set on screwing the city and fans in Sacramento, they also seem dumb as **** when it comes to making business decisions.
Romanowski called Brown a "bold faced liar" this morning on 95.7.
Shane Lechler and Rod Woodson also think it's ridiculous. And apparently Rich Gannon turned down an interview today on 95.7 saying he didn't want to 'clean up Tim's mess.'
Screw this crap! It's stealing headlines from the Soupy!!!
Why is anyone talking about something that happened 10 years ago?
Reports are that Bogut is coming back to play tonight against Toronto. Pretty excited to see how his addition (Hopefully he's close to 100%) will help the team.
Maybe it is good Curry isn't going to the All Star Game. Take a few days to rest that ankle, which seems to always give him fits. I would really hate to lose him long term.
He rolled it, went to the locker room and then to the bench as stated above. It looked like he was eager to play, but with Jack finding his shooting touch and the team slowly increasing the margin of the lead it kind of gave the coaches no reason to play him. He was bouncing around on the ankle when he went to the locker room, so I believe he's alright. Pretty sure the Mark Jackson wanted to play it safe.
