Danault had 3 assists in a 5-0 win for Moncton tonight. Give Danault 3 goals and 13 points in 6 games since being traded to Moncton at the deadline.

PA and McNeill face off against Kamloops tonight; the game, I believe, has been delayed though.

Phillip Danault adds another 3 assists. Now 6 games, 3 goals, 10 assists, 13 points, +8 since joining Moncton. 35 games, 17 goals, 40 assists, 57 points overall.

Kevin Hayes adds an assist on the only BC goal tonight. Interesting to compare his and the incredible, amazing Chris Kreider's stats.

Kevin Hayes
Sophomore year: 44 games, 7 goals, 21 assists, 28 points
Junior year: 22 games, 6 goals, 17 assists, 23 points
Pro-rated(44 games): 12 goals, 34 assists, 46 points

Chris Kreider
Sophomore year: 32 games, 11 goals, 13 assists, 24 points
Junior year: 44 games, 23 goals, 22 assists, 45 points

Clearly Kreider the better goalscorer but Hayes is a great playmaker. Hayes kind of reminds me of Joe Thornton in that way although clearly not as skilled, but their games are very similar.

Merged the 2 prospect threads back together

Since the end of WJC and lockout the Toledo/other prospects thread died out a bit

Only 2pts behind him with 8mins less ice time a game.

Schultz is a year older than Leddy on top of seeing much more favorable ice time.

Leddy has more NHL experience and is a complete pylon in his own zone, hense, his sheltered minutes while even strength.

Let me know when he catches up to the rookie, thanx

Hilarious that Martini was most vocal about how bad Nick Leddy and Brandon Saad were and how there was no way they'd make the team and they both need to be in Rockford.

Complete opposite of what he said has happened lmao. For some people, you can watch as many live games as you want but they just can't see the game the way others do. I guess that is what happens when you go against what everyone else sees, including the experts and professionals.

Martini is that guy that has to spend all his free time on the Internet responding to posts with nonsense since no one wanted to deal with what we have to see face-to-face.

Why does Leddy have to equal Schultz in points to be anything? Schultz is expected to be a #1 Defenseman and might have more offensive upside than any young Defenseman in the league (not counting Karlsson since he's established, although Schultz and Karlsson are the same age). Why not just let Leddy be Leddy and appreciate his offensive contributions playing on the third pairing. Nice goal to beat the Wings last night. Were you happy or upset that Leddy wasn't deep in his own end blocking shots and clearing the crease?

Leddy is now second pairing with Hammer and Oduya down to the third pairing. Once Rozy is healthy, our defense is a rock.

He played 12 minutes last game. Thus far, he's been used as third pairing Power Play Defenseman which is a role I feel he excels at and helps the Blackhawks the most. I think his ice time can increase and am interested to see how he does with Hammer on the 2nd pair. His skating and poise with the puck really opens things up and allows our star forwards to make plays. I dunno why some are upset that he's not the next Erik Karlsson or leading the league in blocked shots. That's like being upset that Kane isn't a gritty third line Center. It's just not who he really is. To say that not being that type of Defenseman means he doesn't belong on the Hawks is ridiculous. The Hawks are built on speed and quick puck movement. Leddy fits into that team very well. The Hawks aren't the St. Louis Blues. And that's fine with me.
