Anyone know how Forsberg is recovering from his surgery

He says he feels "great" and expects to play as soon as he's "100%".

we'll just have to wait and wait and wait and wait until he's "100%"....it seems to take Forsberg a hell of a long time to hit that mark (sorry to Forsberg fans)

I was thinking about that the other day... Why not set January 1st as a return date, and if he feels 100% before that, great! If he isn't up to playing until January then so be it. He'll be fresh for the postseason and look what he did in Colorado that one year when he ONLY played the playoffs.

What I have read in swedish press his feet is the reason for most of his other problems the last few seasons, all his groin injuries is due to his feet being in a bad shape. The operation should make him alot less prone to other injuries, he stated that he hope to get back asap.

And he has no real intent to quit playing hockey for some time...

going through this procedure is a pretty clear sign that this is so. i'm hoping the Flyers lock him up before he comes back for another couple years.
