I think they do practice it, but it seems like they need to dumb it down for the players even more.

They didn't execute, this is true, but is there anyone on the bench saying don't go low? Anyone?

I never thought I'd clamor for a coaching change, but its time. This has nothing to do with Kesler and Booth. Even with three in four, you'd expect SOME intensity, and its not there.

If anything, that's a positive.

What kills me is there is virtually nothing to lose by throwing a young skill player like Schroeder in there over Edler. But the only time AV goes off the board is to see if one of the Sedins have remembered that they're not 4th line grinders in the ECHL when it comes to the shootout.

Lose in the circus, but got a point. It's slowly getting better. Sedins played one of the worst games I can remember in a long time though, it was almost comical. 3rd game in 4th night, they looked completely gassed but put in a pretty gutsy effort.

Burrows Hansen Higgins had their best game of the short season. Still amazed by Burrows' ability to shift to center and play as well as he has. Guy has incredible hockey IQ.

Enjoy your hysterics everyone!

Schroeder needs to get a shot if it goes 5 shooters deep (or the Canucks actually get a day to practice and see how he does). He too only really has 1 go to shootout move (leg kick fake shot, five hole) but it's a good one!

AV has got to go. It probably won't happen till the summer, but we are not winning with him here.

Sedins brought the suck tonight.

Lou was great and so was Ballard and Schroeder.

LA won't be repeating. and wow..biggest divers in the league

That's pathetic. This is the best done under AV's tenure and it's still technically 4 losses to 2 wins.

Defense (except for Tanev/Ballard) needs some major work. Luongo was left out to dry the entire second period.

Not giving up hope yet, but extremely frustrating we are handing other teams points to them like it's candy on Halloween.

AV you thick-skulled **** Edler is not good in the shootouts!!! The only reason he was good in the first place is because he was unscouted. I love Edler, but he only has one ****ing move! If you put him in the shootout enough times teams will ****ing scout it and be prepared for it!!!!!!!

can't blame Luongo for tonight, he stood on his head and got us that 2-1 lead, then got beat by a screen deflection, and stopped 2/3 penalty shots. There's no excuse for going 0 for 3 in the shootout!!! BAaaaaaa

Our D, with the exception of Bally & Tanev have been horrendous.

No offence to speak of.

Goalies are keeping us in every game this year.

I really don't like the makeup of this team, OR the coaching staff.

Not looking good boys.

He's brutal in the shootout.

He scored a couple of lucky goals early in his career, and since then AV has continued putting him out there.

I'm sure if someone were to make a video clip of his last ten shootout attempts, the results would be pretty horrific.

I don't think it's their memories, I think they just enjoy having hissy fits and overreacting to things. They think it makes them better fans.

Loving this team right now! Boys looked really good out there tonight. Glad we're off to a better start this season than usual. Couldn't have handled YET another slow start.

Sad about losing in the last 43 seconds, but whatever. It happens.
