Made an offer as a sabres fan a while back. Luke Adam for Kyle Beach. Change of scenery for both guys could help.

So you don't like Powerforwards that fight, hit, use size effectively, with top 6 potential?

A pretty rare combination Zack brings, not sure how you think he has "set the bar high"

On the Leafs board about a week ago I proposed Beach for Colbourne.
My fellow Leaf fans hated it.

Pretty sure he's not gonna be offered a contract or traded to another AHL team for another AHL player, minor deals.

I was so hoping the Habs could draft him in his draft year.

I wish we'd try him as a 4th liner, think he could play Bollig's role just fine but then maybe more would come. Why come this far only to keep him down for Bollig, never use him and then just dump him? Makes no sense. Even when we got Eager at a somewhat similar point in his career, we gave up Vandermeer. At least offer something of use, even if it is just a low level rental. Like I said though, I'd rather keep him and just use him as a 4th liner.

You think Beach would be top 10 in the NHL in goals with Hossa and Toews?

Kassian has played not even a full season. He has how many goals? Hes had how many fights and won how many?

Im as big of a fan of Kass as there is. Probably more than you. Its far to early to say where Kass will end up. Kass could very well end up as a tweener.

Beach is also an idiot and has been his whole life. The icing on the cake (which unfortunately was applauded by some hawk fans) was when he dummied another prospect. Hes an absolute fool.

as long as you don't know the name of that other prospect I could care less what you think about that little fight were that unnamed norwegian C/W hurt his shoulder while falling to the ice. Accidents like that happen.

I just gave you something to search for the name of that player whos back in the SEL

I dont get your point.

1) Why would I remember the name of a Hawks prospect?
2) What relevance does it have that I remember his name or not?
3) What does him being in the SEL have to do with the fact that Beach is a headcase?
4) Why the **** would I care if you cared what I thought?

You lie as very few Hawks fans approved of Beach's action at the time. Olimb would probably have been the softest player in the NHL had he made it back then and Beach was just being a bully ******.

Noticed how i said "some"?

But yeah there was a few applauding his "toughness" and getting defensive when people called him for what he is.

Flip Beach to the Sabres for Luke Adam.
Both are prospects that have some promise but have been passed over by both of their teams for other prospects
The change of scenary will do for both. Adam is center depth for Chicago and Beach is more grit for Buffalo

maybe you are just wrong, not enought into that topic? I know that player and was happy to see him signed with the Hawks back then. He played for my hometown team in Germany and never really had a chance.

Beach wanted to fight him and he accidentally hurt his shoulder. That happens. Not a big deal and not a headcase. In fact, Beach matured a lot in the last 2 years and now just accepts the role he has.

He has issues with taking stupid penalties sure but from what I've heard re his development this year coupled with my gut instinct is that he will find a place in the NHL and hopefully with the Hawks.
So NO to all your low ball offers!
Heck I think if he was put on line 1 with Hoss and Toews he would be putting up similar numbers as Kassian is with the Sedins.
Exactly. One day Beach will get his head right enough to play in the NHL. And if/when he does he will prove many people wrong.

Sadly, that day will never come.

Beach is a bust. Everybody needs to move on.

Beach is the definition of a headcase. From his time in Junior and up. Its not just one thing that hes done.

Beach maturing a lot would probably bring him in the lower tiers of whats normally considered mature.

good to see you don't think people will change while getting older. Beach isn't a headcase anymore. He once was, he isn't now. Much like the Hawks should trade Kane, right?

People can change. Some people can even make great leaps. Very few do though.

And Kane despite some of his Shennanigans has never been a head case.

Beach has a ton of distance to cover to not be a head case. Its not about maturity.

Right now he's leading the team in scoring.

Playing very well, it's clear he has offensive potential.

And actually I'm a big fan of Zack, I liked him before we made the trade and I have been an advocate of the deal for a long time, long before everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.

I've watched most the Wolves games when the lockout was on, and also seeing how he is playing now, it is easy to see there is alot of upside there.
