Hey guys! Posting it now. This is a work in progress as I will post lineups as soon as I get them. Probably tomorrow morning as I get better information. Stay tuned. Awesome GDT Maybe since it's your 1st we can get you a win = ) I used to do these way back when and man it's tons of work. Not to toot my own horn but i was the 1st to embed music which i'm sure didn't go over to well lol.
Theres like a negative percent chance well win this game. Best we can hope for is Nabokov somehow turning into patrick roy for the night and keeping the isle killers crosby and malkin at bay. Other than that, this has all the makings of an absolute blowout loss on national tv. Wouldnt be the first time, would it?
The loss of Hamonic may spiral the team. Just look at what losing mcdonald did for the young isles last year, they spiraled out of control.
Whatever, cant expect too much with this roster. Especially against the pens.
Great job Truman.. The boys need to come out of the gate strong tomorrow try to catch the Penguins napping. Not going to say it's impossible you play the game for a reason cause anything could happen. If they do win it'd be a pretty big boost for this team early in the season missing Hammer.

pittsburgh is NOT playing well, they are 0-1 at home, the islanders have a road win, and believe it or not, pittsburghs goal tending looks worse than long islands.
long island played the bruins pretty tight, ( in boston ) on the ass end of a back to back set.
i dont see anything that points towards a "blow out loss". it very well may turn into one, but i dont see anything that says it "will".
Although injured, if the Islanders can win this game it would show a big step towards being a legit team. If the Islanders lose it will feel like the same old Islanders over and over again.

I would say that's an understatement! Without Harmonic in the lineup we have 3 rookies on D against one of the best teams in the NHL.
With the isles having blown 3rd period leads, I'm sure the coaches have been on their cases about leaving points on the board.
Let's get a 60 min effort here.
They absolutely NEED a full 60-minute effort tonight. They have to get it up from the start and not let up at all. I'm not optimistic, but I am hoping that they come out with some points tonight.

Sorry guys, but as much as I too LOVE da Hammer, he's not been our best Dman this year. Seen a number of lots battles and positioning blunders from him thus far in this young season, which is a bit disappointing considering he was playing during the lockout. On the other hand, I feel his head injury from the beginning of December really threw him out of the loop a bit.
