2 yrs, 2.875 per. Great deal right now. He really wanted a short 2 yr deal and the Habs wanted to go to 6 I believe. I guess it was important enough to him to make it cheap, I assume with the thought of really upping his production and value for a big contract then rather than a longer medium one now. He'll still be an RFA then I think tho so def a great deal for Montreal.
Horton just pissed all over Staal and half the Carolina team.
Sick goal.
Now the Staals got **** going, with Skinner riding shotgun.
I saw that. I stopped watching at the end of the second but it seemed like Jordan was not getting a lot of time & wasn't doing much with the time he was given.
On the other side Bostons forward position is stacked. Also saw the dude behind the bench popping the Pens Jersey.
Columbus gets the win. Although from an entertainment POV, as a neutral fan, man that is a team devoid of anything worth watching. I have seen AHL teams with more player appeal/exciting players than that crew. With Nash, they were like the Pirates with at least Cutch to watch. Now they are like the "Todd Ritchie is our best player" Pirates team from the early 2000's teams.
Roman Josi has looked relatively good replacing Suter. Suter on the other hand has been pretty up-and-down. but i'm sure he'll turn it around. but the Preds do kind of blow.
just watched the replay of the boston-carolina game..at the end the bruins announcer said their all time record when having a 2 goal lead at any point of a game is 169-5-12
holy cow talk about knowing how to hold a lead
I'm kind've quietly surprised at how well Columbus have started. Only just outside the play-offs.
I mentioned that after their first game of the year. They look poised w/o Nash. They have a whole new vibe to the team. I doubt their talent will hold it together, but it's the right step.
They deserved something against Chicago too, had the referee's not screwed them over (Although them scoring in the last minute made me miss out on £17 ).
I still think they'll miss out on the play-offs but they'll do better than most predicted.

They really needed Yakupov more than the Oilers did.

Impressive. But there is no way that is an all-time record. Boston's all time record is 2856-2207-791-63-43. So they've only had a two goal lead in 186 games? Maybe it was with their current coach....

They're much more competitive to play against and the guys that are there actually want to be there. They've done some good things in the last year and now even going forward especially this year they've got 3 1st round picks. With Murray next year and whoever they take this year they can turn things around pretty fast
As per of the new CBA, there was a slight tweak to the draft lottery process. All teams that are in the draft lottery now have a chance to get the 1st overall pick, the 4-spot move restriction is gone. The weighting system will remain the same.
