The NBA is closer to Olympic handball now rather than the basketball we see at the college ranks regarding dribbling and steps with the ball.
College ball is following suit as well. Caught a number of obvious travels with no call in the G'town/Louisville game. Sad but true.
Also, tonight was the first Wiz game I've watched from start to finish in a long time. Nice group of young players and some vets coming together as a team. Fun to watch.
Obviously concerned, just not about those specific items (that's GNC stuff). Would clearly suck to lose him for any amount of time if there's more to this (not to mention seeing the reputation of a pretty cool guy be rightfully tarnished).
Guess they'd have to shell out for Lohse or something if it did get worse.

Agreed. Still makes for unnecessary consternation even if it never evolves much beyond this point, hence my initial post on the issue. And obviously there is potential for more revelations which would could be disastrous.
Awesome game, got me worried a little at the end, but all is well... i wish Caps would have half of the guts the Ravens have.
Yeah, that got real dicey there at the end. I didn't think Flacco had it in him. He was perfect in the playoffs. He played within himself, made plays when he had to, and didn't turn the ball over.
The Ravens are very serious about competing every year. They're fun to watch.

I hope 20 resigned, worried without leader like Ray Lewis that D will not be the same, even thou he is not RayRay of old his leadership qualities can not be overstated... and yeah, i was never a huge Flaccos fan, but the guy went on ridiculous run this post season, beating Luck, Manning, Brady and Kaepernick on the way to getting MVP in the SB. He's gonna get paid.

Yeah, Reed is amazing, too. He is the leader now. Ellerby looked pretty beastly against the Broncos and the Patriots. They'll fill the holes and compete.
If that was the real Flacco then, wow.
And let's not forget BOULDIN. That guy ought to have shrine built to him. He dominated in the playoffs.
The offense may be better next year without Cam for most of the season.
The defense is a huge question mark. Webb will be back, but it's possible all of Kruger, Lewis, Reed, Ellerbe, Kemoeatu, and Williams are gone. There are internal options to possibly exceed the play of Kemoeatu and Williams, but the others have no apparent replacements. The silver lining is that the defense will assuredly be younger, more athletic, and faster next season. I trust Ozzie to get it done.

The guy is a beast. The Ravens have a tough offseason decision to make on Boldin's $6 million salary. He'll be 33 next season.

I'd be shocked if they don't restructure his deal with an extension. He's just a Ravens type of player, and I think his game will age well. He doesn't really use explosiveness or quickness to be productive.

I hope you are right... and agree on D part, Ellerby and Reed i think are going to stay, but the rest are probably gone.
