Yeah i havent bought them yet...but I absolutely fell in love with the mizuno mp64s. Maybe not as workable as a blade...but theyre the softest irons ive hit...but still challenging enough where you have to swing fairly consistent.

Bought myself a new putter today... Scotty Cameron Studio Select Fastback 1.5.... Absolutely love the feel and balance of it!! Can't wait to get to Palm Desert to use it! Hopefully a couple times here before then too! Was one of Golftowns demo sale clubs... Barely has a scratch on it and got a wicked deal on it!

I picked up a Seemore Belly putter a few months ago but I think it is time to ditch the experiment. I have always had a problem hitting straight putts but my speed is always on the money, even with 50 footers I would usually end up a few feet from the cup. Now with the belly putter, I have never hit them straighter in my life but my speed control is gone. I had a 4 putt last round, I havent had one of those in years. You guys think I should stick with it or go back to the old faithful?

I would say in my extremely limited experience with golf, but with a tonne in other sports....

If you got the line now with the belly... stick with it and you'll eventually learn the feel to get the right distance...

In the LONG RUN... it seems the belly will be the better choice... just gotta work on the feel of the club now. You're ahead of the curb if your line is on already...

Remember its a whole new technique... it will take a lil bit of time to nail it... again.. focus on the pros - line... the rest should come...
eventually.

Don't they say belly putters are like cheating??? just get to the point where its cheating for you..

You make a lot of sense. I used my old putter over the weekend but I think I am going to just keep practicing with the belly putter until I feel comfortable bagging it. I can see the advantage of it once I get my speed down. I could also use two putters for the time being and ditch my 6 iron until I am fully comfortable with it.

I was reading the PGA profile of Brad Fritsch, a Canadian who is a rookie on the PGA tour, and under "Personal", it states about him:
"Favorite website is hfboards.com, a hockey site."

Tiger would've made the cut at 1 over, but he was assessed a 2 shot penalty after the round for an illegal drop.

I was watching some of it and boy oh boy, those two did not look like they wanted to be there.

Good thing they both racked up healthy appearance fees.

Also interesting to see after just one round of using a Nike putter and being signed as the new face of Nike Golf, Rory reverts back to the Scotty Cameron.

Tiger looks absolutely incredible this week so far.

Dialed in. Vintage Tiger.

Driving the ball as good as I've seen him in the past few years, more accurate then he's ever been.

The short irons and wedges are finally coming around. Inside 150 yards Tiger is finally starting to look dominant like he did during his prime.

Short game around the green looking very impressive as well.

Hope he can finish the final 18 holes off strong.

And of course as I say that, for the first time all week he has his first two left, going left drives off of his first two holes on his final 18.

Yep. Tiger's rolling. Short game magic as per usual.

Looks like he's figured out the mental part too. The bad misses don't throw him off anymore.

-16... 5 shot lead with 14 to play.

Pace of play has been horrendous today. The group in front of Tiger should be lashed....

Tiger looking not that good over the past 9 holes. Still will win #75 but he's finished bogey, double bogey, bogey.... ugh.

No, they should not be lashed. They should be put on the clock per PGA Tour rules and then penalized accordingly. Until the PGA Tour actually penalizes slow play it will continue.

He was consistent in the first 3 rounds. At least it's a start.

I don't disagree with anything you said but I've never seen a group an entire par-5 behind the group in front of them. Almost 4 hours to play 11 holes?

It's an absolute disgrace. To watch these guys with what seems like 5 minute preshot routines is just painful.

Nice to see Mickelson has decided to keep playing golf instead of whining about paying more in taxes.
