I really don't mind playing Hank tonight. He's had a couple days off and he really needs to physically and mentally get himself out of any funk he might have been in. Especially mentally. If we get a W tonight, I think it will work wonders for our confidence. Especially Hank's.

If the Rangers needed a tough guy for tonight they should have called up Manshinter... i dont like a defenseman being just a tough guy/ enforcer. if they are all round dman like McQuaid, Gleason, Orpik etc they are more useful than the Broom

As I said before Bickel is Torts' David Diehl. Likes a terrible terrible player and hurts his team for stupid reasons.

I really think tonight's game comes down to penalties and if our first line gets good match-ups. Stay out of the box from STUPID penalties (looking at you 4th line and Bickel) and get the Gab-Rich-Nash line out there against there **** defense and we should be fine. If we get in penalty trouble early it could be a long ass game.

And when were there 6 defensemen? Eminger played 4:12 Saturday.
WTF torts if bickel needs to be out there to fight off (which he doesnt do well) the big bad bruins then out him on the fourth line. The guys going to spend more time in the penalty box then on the ice and in dont even think its a question that the 6th dman slot is a hell of a lot more valuable then the fourth line wing.
Bickel has cost us a couple already this season in his limited minutes, I hope this does not continue.
2 years back Eminger was filling in sufficiently on the top 4. He played 23 minutes a night sometimes for the Ducks.
Yeah I'm not sure what it is about Eminger's game that Torts doesn't trust. I feel like he's been pretty reliable for us in his time here. Nothing special, but he doesn't hurt us. He can certainly play 12 minutes if we need him to. Ah well, Torts disagrees.

I find Gilroy to have even less use than Bickel. At least Stu can win a damn fight. If there is something softer than Gilroy, science has yet to find it.
