For the love of God.....WIN THIS GAME.....it's my last day in Barcelona and I'm back in Texas tomorrow, I'm going to miss the *********** out of Spain (at least until I come back in September to teach english & music), and I could really use the news of a Islander victory to make the excruciatingly long flight through JFK en route to Austin.

I agree we need 2 more points out of these next 2 games for it to be a successful trip. Anymore would be great and would be a huge for this team. Not picking up 2 would be a real bad sign.
Luckily MA Fleury is one of the worst goalies in the league.. although with our luck the Pens will start Vokoun and we'll get shutout.

His 2 wins this season he let in 1 goal, 26 saves on 27 shots against Philadelphia, 31 saves on 32 shots against Ottawa. He had a bad game against Toronto, but he had no help in front of him, the first Toronto goal came when one of the Leafs pushed Engelland into Fleury to prevent him to make the save. On another goal, Malkin turned the puck over in the defensive to a wide open JVR, and another one of their goals was a 5-3 power play goal. Those are the only 3 goals out of the 5 I can analyze and say that those were not Fleury's fault.

Not sure I would go that far considering Bettman is a self admitted Islander Fan. However I agree that the league deffinately favors the Pens.

Malkin probably does too. Whenever both are healthy they seem to score so much on us. I hope we have another game like the 2010 melee and just steam roll them while beating the hell out of them too. JT vs. Crosby fight would be epic.

As much as it pains me to say, Crosby would probably kick JT's ass. Crosby can throw punches. Tavares' only NHL fight was a jersey tug-o-war that lasted about half a second. Burmistrov i think it was.
Islanders have to play MEAN. Hit everything that moves. You cannot let these losers skate around finesse all night or the refs will give them a ridiculous amount of PP's. Add to that we have zero respect with the officials and if we allow them to play a skating game, we'll get killed.
The only prayer we have at winning is playing them physical. You have to get them off their game. I put martin on the first line and I have him hit everything that moves. Boulton needs to destroy everything that moves.

Who are you kidding? Crosby isn't kicking anyone's ass. The only fight I remember was that Ference(I think) fight, where Crosby was confidently throwing punches until Ference got his head out from under his jersey and started hammering him. Once that happened Sid grabbed on for dear life and brought him to the ground. Or maybe you are referring to the fight with Giroux, where all he did was hug him until the ref tried getting between them, which was when Crosby decided to throw an uppercut.

Actually I remember seeing that one. He had a good strategy there. Yank the guys jersey to keep him off balance and then push his face with your hand until he falls down.
OT, but does anyone know what the lyrics are after "somebody left the gate open"? Something like "come save us a runaway train......."? It's really pissing me off.
