Slew foot? Not even close. If anything Bergeron interfered with Skinner who was in pursuit of the puck.

That was Bergeron with an interference/hook on Skinner while both players were going behind the net; ie, less skating room and legs closer together. The trip looked entirely incidental.

I can see why Bergeron would think he was slewfooted. All he would have known is that Skinner came from behind and took his feet out.

But no, that's not a slew foot. At worst, it was Skinner trying to draw a hooking call by grabbing the stick and going down easy.

Looks like Skinner was falling and decided to take Bergeron down with him. As a Bruins' fan? No biggie. Just continue to finish your checks on Skinner and beat them again.

If you do that skinner be prepared for a wealth of calls, few dive and act better than skinner.

Have to agree with the general consensus that this wasn't a slew foot. Time to move on.

Most Bruins fans are being reasonable about this. It was really nothing, more accidental, and like I said before Bergeron is the one who interfered with Skinner to cause it.

But oh man I can't imagine the outcry had this happened to Crosby/Malkin/Letang.

It was minor, not even worth a view by head office.

Just keep your head up next game Skinner because you never know when you will be caught in the trolley tracks.

Looks cheap but is hard to tell.
Mostly I trust Bergeron's reaction. He doesn't over-react so if he thought it was cheap or dirty I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt - the same as when Burrows bit his finger and everyone was wondering why Bergeron of all people was flying off the handle.

I like that there's some bad blood between these two teams.

Yeah, it seems like there's always something going down when they play. Maybe just a volatile mix of personalities on the ice.

I trust Bergeron's reaction. I've only seen him get upset like this twice. Burrows biting him and Josh Gorges hitting him in the head. Gorges got one heck of a left hook to the face for it. PB's only fighting major of his career.

So many slewfoots this year, I don't get it. Bryan Allen, Taylor Hall, Corey Perry etc.

Bergeron tried to set a moving pick on him and they got tangled after Skinner tried to wedge his way through the traffic. Not a slew foot IMO.

I don't think Skinner did anything intentional. Looked like he legitimately lost his balance and Bergeron went with him. Skinner made no additional contact to Bergeron. Bergeron just got the wrong idea and went after him.

Not a slewfoot..

There is no follow through with Skinner's left foot which would be indicative the kicking motion required from a slew foot.

They got tangled up Bergeron went down from Skinner's knee hitting the back of Bergeron's right leg.
Same effect of a slew foot.. but with out the dirty intention. Big difference.

Bergeron overreacted, but only in retrospect... That would of felt the same (and had the same result) as what a real slew foot would of felt and resulted in, so you can't blame him at all for his reaction.

Really inconclusive on the slewfoot, but that is Skinner's signature move along with the figure skating spin move he does all the time. I haven't been impressed with Skinner for a while.

I can absolutely understand his reaction, but that doesn't mean he got slewfooted. From his perspective it probably felt like a slewfoot, even if it was just a tumble to the ice.

Yes because Bergeron with his back to Skinner could really comprehend Skinner's intentions. To Bergeron he was skating and then suddenly he was dumped, of course he was going to be pissed but he has no way to tell if it is intentional or not.

Did not look intentional to me, it looked clumsy.
