There is also Hunter Moreau from Quebec that should be invited.

Nicolas Patry-Gingras of Gatineau and Félix Lauzon of Magog are the only two 14 years old who played the entire seasin in Québec's Midget AAA league this year. Both played well but also played on the two weakest teams in the league (and teams are based on territories). I would bet Patry-Gingras makes it though.

Why is Sandro Silvestre the top goalie in Québec? He was not chosen amongst the two goalies who made team Québec (1998 born) last summer.

I agree, Sylvestre is a top goalie for Quebec and should be at Allstate, the kid has a bright future. Also agree that Hunter Moreau should be on the list- that is a kid to watch, as well.

This is the strongest year of birth I have seen in Nova Scotia in some time, I am a QMJHL scout and will say the five best are:

Keith Getson (might have skills to possibly be 1st overall QMJHL)
Mitchell Balmas (might give Getson a run for 1st overall)
Luke Green (A defender who is just as good as Getson and Balmas)
Evan Fitzpatrick (a goalie from NFLD who is 6'02 and IMO the best in canada for age)
Rielly Pickard (another top flight goalie who will go 1st round QMJHL)

then you have:
Michael O'Leary
Mike Green
Barrett Dachushyn
Connor Peveril
Alexander Arab
Morgan Nauss
Brett Crossley

I would have to say Quebec has some good talent too....the best being Hunter Moreau, Michael Campoli, Nicolas Patry-Gingras, Felix Lauzon, Samuel Guilbault, Mathieu Sevigny.

I'm pretty sure Samuel Girard and Jacob Neveu will be considered for this event.

Can't wait to see what Balmas & Getson can do in Major Midget. There's always a few players who look great in Bantam in NS but fall off significantly in Midget. These two guys specifically look like the exception

I saw some of these kids play recently. Most specifically Getson. Was looking to see what the hype was about. The game I saw pitted Getson against Moreau and Campoli. Not sure if Getson scored in that game but Moreau and Campoli scored. That is not that important. I was looking for something special. Something worthy of a potential top pick in next year's Quebec league draft 2014 and did not see it in Getson. The game was played at the World Selects Invitational tournament in Portland Maine last weekend. Just my opinion.

Saw some great teams from Russia at this tournament. Some very physical games played against the Russians. Campoli hit one of the Russian kids so hard that he broke the kid's collarbone. Games were fun to watch, less the injury. Lots of speed and skill.

I believe Balmas, Crossley and Getson are the Top 3 Atlantic Canadian Prospects for sure! They should all 3 be invited

Two D from the Alliance with a good shot: Griffin Luce and Keaton Middleton. Luce looks like he has a lot of upside and works hard, but needs to work on his skating. He should be one of the more dominant defensemen out of this age group. Keaton is the brother of Ottawa 67's Jacob Middleton. He towered over the 97's when he played against them. He's got a lot of potential. Both I can see being picked for this event.

I don't think there was any better player than this guy at the "jeux du Québec" in march.

Oh I see. That tweet made it seem like the Mentorship Cup game was in May when it said "for the Allstate All-Canadians National Mentorship Cup game in May."

Anyone see Brett Crossley play since he has left the NSMBHL? I am curious to see what he can do in comparison to Balmas and Getson now. He will be a heavily watched prospect at this years NS U-16's camp at St. Francis Xavier University in July.
