I'm really enjoying the influx of random math stuff in here lately. I haven't done math properly since high school. This is bringing back amusing memories of bad math classes. Also, for some reason, the quadratic formula.

You're insane. But that sounds glorious. I dunked my sesame seed bagel into an Irish Cream coffee this morning. Not so good.

Insanity is to repeat a task and expect different results. You are not insane. Just weird.

Wow. Eggs taste good pretty much whenever, but I can't fathom egg on chile.

(Also, pro-tip: when you're cooking ramen, toss an egg in there. It gives it more depth, more nutrients, and makes it feel vaguely more pork-fried-rice-ish. Chop in a few veggies, some pepperoni and a few spices to make it REALLY good.)

When I eat eggs, I prefer them on toast.

As for coffee, don't need it.

How many soldiers are there in a group of 27 sailors and soldiers if there are four fifths as many sailors as soldiers?

No kidding. You're like the human version of energy drink. If you had coffee, your heart would explode.

University made me a caffeine junkie. Before it? No need. Then, I had a cup a week when it was convenient. At my height at Carleton, I had a Timmies L (back when it got rebranded so it used to be called x-large) five days a week, whether it fit into my schedule or not.

First week at Algonquin, I had three XL coffees every day for the first week, then told myself I needed to cut back like WHOA. Back down to one cup a day now.

Doh. You're right. I mixed up the sailors and soldiers in the question. I's still 15/12 though.

I'm probably wrong

HAWT will surely correct me.

x + y= 27

x = 0.8y

0.8y = 27 - y

1.8y = 27

y = 15
