The Jets have the least amount of penalties in the league.

3-1 Jets.
You'll fit in GREAT here

True. But if the Habs can stay out of the box they have the statistical advantage right now (not that it really means that much 4 games in). Montreal is tied for 1st overall with only 3 Goals against 5 on 5 this year so far.

Should be a fun game to watch.

I think Bourque pots one tonight, as long as he can keep his shots about 20 feet lower than last game.

Would be nice to see him or Cole get one.

Or better yet both for that matter.

For the record this Bell Fibre Op still isn't available in my region so I'm not about to switch to Bell anytime soon.

This will definitely be our toughest game yet. NJ is a great team, but the Jets are flying (no pun intended) this year and for good reason.

Here's hoping that Eller busts out tonight, not just cuz of his previous exploits vs them, but because he looks upset with the way things are going and he needs a big confidence booster. And we need him!

GO HABS GO!

Do you have a Bergevin jersey?

PK is 100% not playing tonight. He's got to learn the system. I want him augmenting it, not screwing it up. He'll play tomorrow.

I doubt he even plays tomorrow. He hasn't even passed his medical yet. Nor has he even practiced with his teammates. Give him time to adjust to the team philosophy and new system. 3 days should be good.

Really no point to rush him either. He probably plays Saturday or Sunday.

I sure hope so, he's doing everything right, he should have a minimum of 2 goals this year.

We beat NJ and our nemesis Brodeur, I don't foresee us having much trouble winning this.

Maybe but the Jets have been medicore on the PK so far. Currently 23rd in the league if i remember correctly. They may not take many penalties but when they do they may get burned

I predict a 3-2W for Montreal in regulation. Armstrong, Gionta & Diaz with the goals. I think our winning goal with come on the PP like others have mentioned, their PK isn't the greatest. Winnipeg has a decent defense but they lack mobility and some of them aren't that great defensively (I'm looking at you Byfuglien and Hainsey) but Stuart and Bogosian won't make it easy for our forwards to enter the offensive zone. They have some decent players on their top 6 but their bottom 6 is pretty soft, Slater and Ponikarovsky are gritty but they overwhelm physically our defenseman like Elias/Zubrus/Clarkson did last game. Thornburn is their only scrappy guy but I wouldn't worry too much. They have some good power-forwards like Kane and Ladd so let's hope that Kaberle or Weber is not on the ice when they are because it might get ugly in our zone.

* I take blame if we lose since I have yet to post in a GDT this season and I'm a really supersticious guy when it comes to these kind of things.

It's true that he probably shouldn't play until he is 100% ready in all aspects (physical/mental). I fear we will badly need him against ottawa (both times this week). The going is about to get REAL tough, starting tonight. Hopefully Weber can do the job (if he's still replacing Kaberle's facial injury aka suckage) for the few minutes he is on the ice. I don't particularly like the idea of Marky playing 30 minutes a game, which is what's going to be required. Argh...time machine.
