On the plus side, HF Boards is working properly for me this morning for the first time in a month or so. No 503's and posts are being marked as read.

Yeah, but sometimes when I go to another page and then come back to HF, it shows some of the posts unread despite the fact that I already read them.

Might be because I open every thread on new tab though.

Memory issues are quite bad on Chrome, although with 8GB of RAM, I don't really notice it other than AVG telling me I that Chrome uses a lot of memory.

Nobody cares probably, but I got a new job today, and start the 11th of next month. It's M-F and 9-5. I'll finally be able to see family and friends and enjoy my hobbies again. Might even dust off the skates, and get back into a league! #happyday

Congratulations! While, let's face it, working is only to earn money, but you want to earn money AND do something enjoyable at the some time. Also, working shouldn't dictate one's life. It appears you've got rid of the latter (at least). A good move.

Excellent news TF! What league did you last play in?

Just got word my work is going to have health plan incentives for next year (finally). Bad news is the "activity challenge" of 90 minutes per week starts the week AFTER hockey season ends and ends a month before summer league. Ugh.

Why not? Bigger avatars, signatures, no ads AND you're supporting the website! Plus the price really isn't that bad. It's less than a dollar/month.

By the way, you're able to pay it directly from your bank account using PayPal as a guest. That was the biggest obstacle for me initially, since I didn't want to go through the trouble of transferring funds from my bank account to my PP account.

It's great.

At least you have incentive for off-season training.

Isn't becoming a sponsor just a one time payment of $10?

I last played in the wild adult league. I stopped playing and the boys won two championships...lol

Additionally, I skated with the hockey central guys, and was the worst player on the ice among bjugstad, the brodzinskis, benny lynch, nick jensen, etc.

Yeah. Yesterday was able to get through a workout for the first time in a month (lingering flu). Want to get on the bike when it's nice and cruise the streets of Mac Groveland.

I've heard the Wild league is kind of a gongshow, but it would be nice to have a regular skate in the same rink. What level were you?

$12.00 gets you one year. It's a good deal. I mean, I'm tight on money but I didn't find it that bad at all. After all, I use this site a lot, post sometimes a lot of pictures which put some strain on servers and getting rid of the ads is a bonus too. Even if you use a browser extension to get around it as some do, it gets rid of the free space in where the ads are supposed to be.

Bigger avatars are not really a big thing but it's a bonus, as are signatures.

Here is the full list of the benefits.

Let's be honest, I'd be more worried if you weren't the worst among the players named.

Why can't it just be just 3 easy payments of $3.99. But wait! Theres more! if you order now you get to bypass the 30-second interval post limit.

We played d level, but it is a gong show in regards to the levels. We played in a level for beginners and had former jr and college players to stay competitive

Btw, the youngest brodzinski, bryce is going to be the best out of the bros.

Youre right though... It was fun just to be on the ice with those guys.

One of my next-door neighbors is an elderly couple and after the snowfall on Sunday I went out and shoveled their sidewalk and walkway because it wasn't that big of a deal (will do that sometimes when I'm in a shoveling zone). Didn't think much about it until a half-hour ago when it turns out they baked banana bread for us as a "thank you gift" for doing so.

So I feel pretty good right now and have banana bread. Hurray for people helping people!
