GDT: Game #5: New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins, 7pm, MSG+

It's gonna be a tough one, let's hope we could pull it off. I don't understand why Larsson is sitting yet again. We have tons of struggling defensemen. Honestly, I think Bryce is the only one that is safe right now. And does anyone know what number Anderson will be wearing? I'd imagine it'd be 12.

I really don't like to utilize the predict the score thread. I just don't like to predict against the Devils. They showed they can hang with any team in the league pretty much the last two years just about. Even the character in coming back to tie Montreal from being down by 2 at two different times in the game. Boston is the only team that we haven't been able to hang with. It's kinda like the way Boston can't hang with Washington or Carolina last year in the regular season, and losing in the playoffs.

It's just a bad matchup for us. I like our chances a little better with Rask though than with Thomas. Last time we played Rask was the last time we beat them. Thomas used to aggravate us so much last year. He was the only Bruin that played a full 60 minutes against us.

If we dont come out playing hard we will be down 4-0 at the end of the 1st

Definitely need to come out strong for this one. Bruins are a good team and we can't afford to take them lightly.

Gotta play hard. Honestly I don't remember the Devils not playing hard against the Bruins last year except the first 10 minutes of our last game against them. And later in the 3rd also, and that was ironically the only game we got a point out of.

It was ridiculous how that one game they scored 6 goals on like probably 10 really good opportunities the whole night. Time to take back our number tonight!

has dougie scored yet? because if marty gets the nod over moose, then hes scoring. even if moose is starting hell still prob get his first goal. since its still the devils and all.

I hate any team from Boston automatically so let's not hold back here. Devils should (hopefully) bounce back from that OT lose and grab this one. They definitely have enough skill to do so. This game will probably depend on what kind of a night Marty will have.

Similar to pitchers in baseball, but on a smaller scale. They'll play 3-4 then take a game off.
