Chimera screws up 3 three on two scoring chances by causing an offsides call, Hendricks gets a Gordie Howe hat trick and OV whiffs on another ENG chance in a 1 goal win.

Ovechkin-Beagle-Crabb

I kind of like it. Maybe it is what OV needs? Time for him to do the work and take the lead. And not just wait for Nick to get him the puck.

I would love to see OV get a ugly goal tonight. A bad or tipped pass right on to OV stick for a cheap goal.

Lol, of all days for Al Koken to mention in the pregame that the teams " are warming up in Kanata, Ontario".

Yea lets make our lazy goal scorer do even more than he's not doing now.

The whole comparison falls apart anyway. If Manahattan were spelled Youknightestates...it would be the same.

I think Oates is just planting the seed and its up for the player to figure out why he is doing what he does. Ovi you play with guys that don't shoot. Figure out what to do about it.

Sometimes that works better than telling someone direct. who tends to do the opposite. Dude, dont go out with her. Married, a year later.

The systems are installed and he is waiting for players to come talk if they have questions. I think I read that is how he rolls.

its fun to watch perreault on the ice against 4th line and 3rd d pair. he runs rings around them often.

watching ov with beagle and crabb against shutdown 3rd lines and 1st defense pairs is not fun. i am not a big fan of trying to turn ovechkin into steve konowalchuk.

I am just trying to have a moment optimism for a change. Seeing that 80% of the time I see the sky falling.

He did it again.

Kanata is within the Ottawa city limits. So maybe Kanata is to Ottawa like Georgetown is to DC?

Looking at those lines, it's a hard pill to swallow. Especially when you see that Schultz, Kundratek and Erskine are all in our top 6 D, AT THE SAME TIME!!!

I don't want to see this team fail miserably, ever. From the end of last season though, I've really wondered what GMGM's ultimate goal was for this year. The Cup may be what's on his mind, but with this team, I feel like that playoffs are a bit of a longshot.

Whoa whoa whoa. Leave Kundratek alone. He has been great, he literally hasn't made a mistake worthy of note.

He also hasn't done anything note worthy. He's nothing special, but he's not horrible.
