I agree with this, just looks like the Hawks can't beat Niemi IIRC

My thoughts exactly.

I agree with you. We run them out of the building tomorrow night with our rest combined with them playing their 3rd in 4 nights.
In a related story: Shea Weber looks like a shell of his former self in Nashville without Suter by his side.

I care more about how we play than actual points, which, if we do play well, will take care of themselves. In particular, it would be good if we can play tough in both Van and SJ. Even better, if we win in one or both of those rinks it will do a lot for our confidence.

I don't agree. I would take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week. It is all about wins no matter how you do it.

I disagree. Competitive athletes focus on execution (what they can control) as opposed to the outcome (which they can't always; e.g. getting stoned by a hot goalie). Ultimately if you execute well the points take care of themselves.

If you ask a player if he would prefer to have a bad game and get a win or have a good game and get a loss, he's going to take the win every time.

Over eight games he's posted a .919 sv% and 2.5GA against Chicago with five wins and one shutout. Pretty impressive numbers but nothing that indicates that he has our number, especially given the relatively small sample size.

I was at the game where the Hawks lit him up for 4 goals in about 25 minutes a few years ago. Depends on how San Jose's defense performs, really.

You remind me of the Family Guy episode where Peter is offered a free boat or what is inside the mystery box. He chooses the box because it might be a boat...lol

1.5 over under would be more difficult. 2 or less

I think he will start only 1 game against Calgary. That's the only back to back and they have 1 or 2 games that they get 2 days of rest between. I'm hoping Crawford can manage 5 of them.

Well, look at that.

I said eight, but I knew we could pull off what we did.

Which were you predicting? 6, 8 or 10?

Looks like you hedged your bets.

I was hoping for an over .500 road trip, or 7 points as a successful trip. 10 is a phenomenal trip and more then anyone was hoping for and expecting and a shutout at the end to put the cherry on top. Awesome trip.
