The GREAT news is that this confirm the RFA status of Danis, something that was still pretty nebulous. So our goaltending depth is still pretty intact; sure, Michaud's gone, but he was dropping like mad in our depth chart so I suppose it was to be expected.

Milroy was man-of-the-year with the Bulldogs last year, plus he's a decent hockey player, I think keeping him is a good move

Not with the great season Halak gave us last year... We have more than enough depth in nets at all levels.

Olivier Michaud is to goaltending what Pierre Dagenais is to forwards.

Good Riddance!!! The guy sucked at the AHL level and is not getting any younger.

He was only signed when our goaltending was in disarray a few years ago due to injuries and it was an emergency.

In a year, Carey Price will be available, making Michaud useless baggage.

In a year he will be, yes. But as of right now, if Aebischer is traded, then Halak needs a back-up in Hamilton.

So either we end up re-signing Michaud, or open up some Hamilton spots to another team and they give us a goalie, or we sign another FA goaltender.

He qualified Ribs so as not to lose him for nothing. Now that he's qualified, BG can sign him, trade him, or whatever.

Good to hear I like all the guys they re-signed. Milroy was boderline but I'm glad they did give him one last year to prove himself if not I think he's a bust for sure. Only one not qualified I may have liked to see back was Michaud but with our goaltending depth he realisticly wasn't really needed I suppose.
